The 30-Day Harry Potter Challenge: Day 5 - Favorite male character and why

I have two favorite boy characters, and then there are others I like as well ;) It's so hard to pick favorites!

Neville Longbottom: I love the transition he goes through in the books.  He starts off as a cute, chubby, klutz and turns into a brave, strong man!

Draco Malfoy: For some reason I have always had a soft spot for Draco, I don't know why.  But he is such a complex character, if he had different parents I know he would have been on the good side, and been great friends with Harry. But unfortunately he had the lovely Lucius for a father ;)

  1. I'm loving this Harry Potter thing you've got going. Don't think it fits on my blog at the moment, but I'm going to play along in your comments section... I just reread all the Harry Potters so it's all fresh!

My favourite male character is Snape. My other one was Sirius, and after finishing the fifth book, I thought J.K. Rowling had done her worst to me; then I read number 6 and was absolutely heartbroken, but still trusting a little bit somewhere. (I'm trying not to be to spoilerish here, though I imagine everyone's read them)!
I think Snape is a wonderful character. You can see why he's completely unlikable to Harry and friends, and at the same time, there are so many hints throughout the books as to his true character. And he's so wonderfully dramatic, and Alan Rickman plays him so well... ; )
