Daily Inspiration: Alexander McQueen Resort 2011

For today's inspiration I decided to feature the Alexander McQueen Resort 2011 Collection.  This is the first collection without Lee as the head designer since his tragic death.  Sarah Burton has taken over the label and I think she did a great job keeping with the vibe that McQueen is known for while adding her own touch.  Here are my favorite looks:

  11. RIP McQueen.

I think you're right, the collection does show a hint of Sarah in it. But still love! I really like the strong shoulders, especially at the end of the 2nd and 3rd row.

  19. Interesting. I thought they were going to take a break for a year or so before continuing with the McQueen brand... at least I read that some months back. Anyway, these are good, true to the style and feel of McQueen's work.
