The ASOS Order

  Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 8:00 AM   |    Post a Comment     Tagged:,,,,
My ASOS order arrived yesterday!  Everything fits great which is good because I was a bit nervous.  I went wild when I took my picture of the sweater and wore my bright pink bra since that's apparently the stylish thing to do. But I wouldn't be brave enough to go out in public like that even though I like it when other bloggers do it, ha ha. [Do you like my mock-heel pose? I was too lazy to put on shoes]

I'm pretty sure I am going to keep the Oasis dress [the floral one] for my High Tea dress and return the other one (even though its really nice).  My ideal shoe would be these gorgeous Miu Mius but I just can't do it...I want to splurge SOOOO bad but I need to resist...even if they are perfect and classic and gorgeous XD What do you guys think...would they be a good investment shoe? I don't really own any plain pumps (not even black *gasp*) My mom would murder me if I did it though, ha ha...I'd never be able to go through with it anyway, I talk big but then I chicken out.
I could get these similar ones from Target...but its just not the same so I don't think I would ever be totally happy with them...I'm sure I can find better ones eventually, haha...

  2. I love the floral dress! It defines your waist better than the orange. And the sweater is very fun! I know what you mean about not being brave enough to go out in it though.

Try ALDO for some great looking nude pumps.

  8. HAHA. Your pseudo-heels pose makes me smile :D

I noticed that I like to go up on my tip toes when I get my blog pictures taken. It's so weird. Love the dress you're keeping and love the color of the one you're returning. I've never ordered from them before. Looks great though :)

  11. Ha ha, I love the mock heel pose ; ) You're really good at it, probably from being on your tip toes in gymnastics! I say splurge, the Miu Miu's are gorgeous and they'd be used for a very special occasion (high tea in London!)

  15. you look great in your high tea dress :) Those shoes are classic but if they are priced to high then skip over them. You should be able to find something similar for cheaper

  27. that is SOOOOOOOOO perfect for high tea. even the color of it looks like it was made for you. aldo has lots of great nude pumps. i'd probably wait to invest in them. they are definitely investment shoes as they would always be in style but they'd prob put you way over budget right?

  29. Man, I keep finding half your posts three days late.

I think that's a good choice for the dress. I like how the floral one is a bit more fitted and ladylike, perfect for high tea.

As for the shoes, you know there's lots of great mid-level shoe brands that are amazing quality and don't cost as much as Mui Muis? I can't really recommend for pumps since I'm more of a funky shoe lover, but I definitely wouldn't splurge without checking some mid-range brands first. Like Kurt Geiger maybe?
