This Week in Fashion

This has been a lovely week. We had great weather AND we got internet at my new house! It has been so nice having it back after a month of just using my iPad...I still haven't watched normal TV yet (except Project Runway last night) because I'm trying to get through all the seasons of Gilmore Girls (which I have already seen a million times). I started watching about a disc a day when I moved in and I finished Season 5 last night, so by the end of the weekend I should be done!

Don't forget  to enter the Shopbop Giveaway and love my Fashion by Feelings look! The FbF look also counts as an extra entry in the giveaway now, so if you liked it be sure to leave a comment on the giveaway post letting me know!

On Tuesday I was a VERY bad girl. As we all know the Missoni for Target collection came out. I had been planning on going to Target before work but stupidly forgot so when I got to work a little early I checked out the site, but it was down due to high volume hits. But I just left the page open in case it came back. When it did I scoured the site as fast as I could adding pieces to my cart, but when I went to edit my cart everything disappeared. Then the site crashed. Again. Finally it came back and once again I found the pieces I wanted, added them to my cart, and proceeded to checkout. It worked this time!! (then it crashed again after I checked out, luckily I made it in time) I also checked 2 Targets on my way home from work and they were all WIPED OUT, nothing was left...it was quite sad.  I did get some of the bag clips though for $5, ha ha, that was one of the few home things left (no throws sadly...)

I bought 4 things but I don't think I am keeping it all. I assume some won't fit, some will look bad or I will change my mind. But with my luck I will love it all and not want to return anything or nothing will work. They were supposed to arrive on the 19th, and now its pushed back to the 26th...UGH! So annoying!! But I shouldn't complain, at least I got stuff.  UPDATE: AHH! Another email just now saying it wont be until October 3rd, I am SO mad right now.

I bought:

Also, someone I work with bought 2 pairs of the purple flats because she wasn't sure what size would fit her, luckily we have the same size feet so she offered the other pair to me! I love having people at work who like fashion as much as I do! (she also got the same dress I bought, how funny is that?)

Did you manage to score anything?!

  29. I was so excited about this collaboration and ended up at home that day because I came down with a sinus infection! I am reading a lot of blog posts that were initially fueled w/frenzy on what they bought and now I am seeing, update, I may be returning x,y, and z. I definitely was wanting that dress but on my way to work the next day, I saw 2 people wearing the same thing... I am thinking to hold out for the housewares because I'd love some of the mugs as well as a large fruit bowl. Very nice haul and thank you for sharing!

  31. I actually did manage to snag some Target Missoni items - the brown/black zig zag open front cardigan and then some home stuff. I hope your's comes sooner than later. I think you'll really like the brown tank, the fabric in person is very nice and it's a good mix of neutrals. Keep us updated! BTW your hair has been super gorgeous lately!
