{outfits} This Week in Fashion

This was my first full week* at work and boy am I pooped! Getting up at 5:40am and getting home at 8pm is not fun, but on the plus side I love my job!  We are so busy so I can barely breathe during the day, but it's fun so it doesn't matter.

I really need to get some more walking shoes, I always find myself wearing my vanEli flats (see Wednesday's outfit) because they don't hurt at all during my 1.5 mile walks to/from the train station.  My other flats start hurting after walking too far, which is annoying because they are usually fine when I wear them all day. They just rub my feet weirdly while I'm doing my "super fast to catch the train" walk.  Anyone have suggestions for good walking shoes? (not sneakers)

*When I say full week I mean four days because I have Fridays off (for now.)

  1. As you know from my last post, I really need to invest in some quality walking shoes as well!

  2. Man I do not know how you are keeping that schedule. I used to commute into NY from Stamford for about 6 months and it was completely exhausting. I didnt have too far of a walk from the train to my job so I just wore my heels so I dont have any good walking shoe suggestions except to take a cab :)

  3. I always have had that problem with flats too, I have a "super fast to the train" walk and normal flats usually tear my feet up. I actually found some Kristina does the Internets

  10. Wowza at Thursday's outfit! That top is super awesome! You could just take your shoes in a bag and wear sneakers. I know that's really depressing, but when you have to walk so far it's a viable alternative. Otherwise, probably some of those mom-brand flats are really comfortable, and some of them have been trying to up their game and get stylish again, so sometimes you can find cute things by Clarks or Hush Puppies and so on. Moms are usually right when it comes to shoe comfort!

  12. Your DIY top turned out really well! If I were you I would look at getting a pair of cute loafers that are comfortable, or... nothing wrong with a pair of converse right?

  23. Try a pair of Toms! They're super comfy and there's several styles to chose from even glittery ones! Plus they donate a pair of shoes to a child in need with every pair purchased!
