I wore this outfit Memorial Day weekend when it was cold and rainy. While I was shopping at Trader Joes a woman stopped me to say she LOVED my shirt and asked where I got it. I told her a thrift store and she was shocked. I should have told her it was only $1. Every time I wear this topI wonder why I don't wear it more often.  It's super soft, comfortable and I always get compliments on it. I think one of the last times I wore it was March 2013. I also wore it 2 Summers ago in these photos and in November 2012 (one of my favorite outfits.)

Top: thrifted, Jeans: Michael Kors (Marshalls), Sandals: Mula c/o Marshalls, Bag: Etienne Aigner (thrifted),  Necklace: Acanthus Jewelry "Gemma" (giveaway), Watch: Skagen (Rue La La), Rings: vintage, Brilliant Imports & Mom's

  3. Getting compliments on thrifted items is the best, I think because you know your find is (more or less) one of a kind, and you get to brag about how thrifty you are.

  5. Oh, I could have been that person.
I stop people and ask them about an item I just loved that they were wearing.
Once the girl told me where she bought them, took the earrings off and everything to show me that they were not heavy. On the other hand, another woman almost ran the other way.
