{outfit} Edun Tiered Dress

This is what I wore to my Aunt's house this past weekend for my cousin's birthday party.  It was an unseasonably warm day so I could have done without the vest, but I wanted to add some more dimension to the outfit. The dress is actually a little big on me and used to be longer, but I had my mom shorten it for me since the previous length hit the middle of my calves. Not a good look for a short girl.

Dress: Edun (ThredUp),  Faux Fur Vest: Ella Moss (Marshalls), Boots: vintage (eBay), Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Gilt), Rings: thrifted & mom's

  1. I love the tiers - it gives it sort of an updated 80s vibe, which is never a bad thing in my book.

  3. It's the perfect length now - having the tiers stopping at knee length makes your legs look really long. And the vintage boots are a delightful addition.

  4. I love the tiers in the dress. So smart to take it up, agreed that would have looked strange at the calves. The vest is a great addition, even tho it was hot, it still works!

  6. I would have never though to pair boots that tall with a dress like that, but I really like it! And you are right, the vest really ties it together.

  7. Love this dress! It's so unique! And you're short? How tall are you? I've always considered you around my height (5'8).

  9. What a fun printed dress, and yay for your Mom making it more wearable. The vest does add a nice layer of texture, and I'm sure there will be plenty of days it will be more than necessary.
