{outfit} Waterlike Prints and Long Cardigans

Yesterday I helped throw a bridal shower for my cousin. We held it at a place on the water so I figured I would go with a watery-print looking dress! It was so cold though so probably not the best idea to only wear it with a sweater. But this is the outfit I had in my head so I stuck with it!! The shower went really well, thankfully some of the other bridesmaids were the vocal ones so I didn't have to yell to the whole group, ha ha.  I also made some pretty delicious french macarons (made to look like oysters) as a favor for the guests, see the picture below!

Dress: Cynthia Steffe 'Naomi' (Lord & Taylor), Cardigan: Ralph Lauren (Lord & Taylor), Boots: Gianvito Rossi 'Finlay' (Marshalls), Tights c/o Wolford

  2. Oh that is a beautiful dress, I'm glad you wore it even if it wasn't as warm as you would have liked, it looks lovely for a shower. Your macarons are incredible though - I actually said 'wow' out loud when I scrolled down to them! :) You're so talented.

  4. I like the look and I can totally relate to sticking with an outfit even if the weather was not on your side. I've frozen to death in a formal gown because it was what I wanted to wear even if it was freezing outside..

  5. Your macaroons came out so beautifully! Sounds like a good shower, and I love the dress you chose, even if it was super cold.
