I have bought so many dainty rings for all occasions from Aurate the past few years. They're the perfect thing to wear on those hot Sumner days where you don't want anything bulky on. I wore a bunch of my jewelry from Aurate with this slip dress on a particularly hot day recently. It added some more interest to my outfit without adding any weight. The pearl necklace in particular is light as air! I'm glad last week we finally had some cooler weather, that hot snap was crazy!

You might recognize the print on this dress. It's because I have the camisole version and wear it A LOT. I got it in December 2015 (first outfit post with it) and it slowly moved up the ranks in my closet. I bought this dress version for $7 in 2019. I don't wear it often but when I do it's always on super hot days. It doesn't cling to the skin and is nice and breezy!

Christian and I finally bought a new parking pass so we can park and walk at our favorite park every morning. They recently updated it with new walking paths, including a path that goes a little closer to this brook, perfect for photos! When I used to live with my parents and/or my cousins the parking stickers were included in our car taxes. Sadly Christian and I don't live in that town so we have to buy one, but it's worth it because we enjoy it so much. We also have access to beaches in the town we live so there are multiple options for walks and bike rides.

I threw this on for an early morning grocery run not intending to take photos. But it was such a nice day I had us stop to take some on the way to my parents. I do love cool Summer mornings. Unfortunately this turned into a pretty hot day, luckily these pants are pretty airy.

I planned a different first outfit post for the Prada Cahier, but we were lazy last weekend and didn't take any photos, so this look will have to do. Worn for a family gathering a couple weekends ago. I love how the little bits of purple in the camisole pop with the color of the purple Prada Cahier.

These IRO jeans are one of my favorite pairs for Summer because they're loose and the fabric is much more breathable than my skinny pairs. I will never give up my skinny jeans but I do embrace more styles. I've had them for 4 years now and they get more and more wears as the years go on.

Plus, here's a fun Reel I did with the Prada Cahier!

Another outfit worn just for a quick trip to the grocery store for some non-perishable items. Christian and I tag team with one of us in charge of the list and one in charge of actually touching the items. We've got quite the system to make sure we're safe and efficient. Hopefully soon things won't be this way but for now we are taking all precautions.

As we're nearing the 6 month mark of trying to stay distant from others it is more important than ever to stay connected in a safe way. A fun way to do that is sending packages or letters to friends and family to keep in touch and let them know you're thinking of them. CarePackages.com is offering a care package to one of my lucky readers!

All you have to do to enter is follow CarePackages4Everyone on Instagram and leave a comment on this blog post with your favorite care package on their website. Once you complete those 2 entries, 2 bonus entries will show up!

NOTE: Sometimes Blogger doesn't like if you comment from your phone with just a Name/URL, if you don't see your comment try on a computer or log into a Google account to comment.

For the friend who's trying to stay healthy I'd go for the Organic Treats care package! They even have nut-free and vegan options. (I might have to get the Chocolate Passion for myself.)

Back to the outfit - I bought these sandals on our honeymoon in September and this was the first time I wore them out in public. They were a lot lighter when I bought them and the girl at the store told me to  leave them in the sun to naturally tan the leather (so it would match the pair on display.) I left them sitting in a sunny window for a few weeks and voila, instant tan on my sandals. In the past my natural colored pairs did this over time but it was fun to do it upfront. They'll keep getting darker over time too.

And we're off to Florence! I wore this the day we arrived so half the day was spent on a train and getting to our airbnb. But then we were off! We went out to an early dinner and then headed to Piazzale Michelangelo to watch the sunset before getting gelato (which we ate a LOT of.)  This was one of our easier days so we didn't do too much apart from that. We stayed right in the Palazzo della Mercanzia which was a perfect central location!

I bought this dress after having it on my watch list for 6 months. It was only $7 but I was trying to behave and not buy it, in the end I decided if I couldn't stop thinking about it I should just get it. I found it because I have a camisole version that is one of my Summer staples (so I was looking for it for an outfit post.)

When I first bought the top version I didn't think I would wear it often because of the deep v on both sides. I'm not the biggest fan of showing off my chest but I thought it was pretty.  Now it's one of my favorite things to wear in the warmer months. And I can even wear it in Fall with jackets. Time to add the dress into the rotation!

I wore it with another Summer staple for its first outing - my Lanvin studded suede sandals!

I was pretty good this month and only bought 1 new thing. Finally bit the bullet and bought that floral camisole dress I mentioned a couple months ago for $7, it didn't arrive yet so hopefully it fits! I've been watching it since last August, so I figure it was a good buy since I couldn't stop thinking about it, ha ha.  I also used advertising money for it so that's good too, it wasn't "real" money. ;)

I did also buy 2 Disney shirts for myself and Christian but I'm not counting those since it's Disney-only or PJ wear. Hercules is one of my favorite Disney movies and they had a Megara and Hercules shirt set for $10 each! They didn't have our exact sizes so mine is a little bit and Christian's is a tiny bit tight, but who cares.

In fun house news, we've been living here for a little over a year now (a year and nice days) and are finally getting around to things we've been wanting to do. We've started our vegetable and herb garden and got natural gas installed on Tuesday! We actually had planned on waiting a couple more years before doing the natural gas conversion but we were forced into early action thanks to an oil tank leak. But we got a super low interest loan (only paying $500 in interest if we pay over the full 10 years) and now we don't have to worry about oil anymore! YAY! Not sure what's next for the house, but we'll start saving up for whatever we want to improve on in the coming years.

I wore this top on two occasions. The first was for a morning in EPCOT before going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. The second time was on my last day in Florida. I went to Magic Kingdom to meet up with a friend who just moved to Florida and we tasted our way around the park before I had to head back to my hotel to get the bus to the airport.

We went to Be Our Guest for lunch where I had the Grilled Shrimp kid's meal and we shared a Master's Cupcake (she hadn't had the grey stuff before!) Then we sampled two treats that I had on my list of things I needed to try/take cute pictures of. I had the Mermaid Donut at Prince Eric's Village Market and my friend Betsy had the Maleficent Waffle Cone at Storybook Treats.  Betsy also got a Witch Minnie Chocolate Covered Caramel Apple for the ride home!

The donut is a yeast donut with purple icing and sprinkles topped with white chocolate treasures from Ariel's Grotto. It was a pretty tasty treat and while it came with a price tag of $4.99 it was totally worth it for how fun it was! (Besides, we have a specialty donut place around here that sells similarly extravagant donuts for about that price.

The waffle cone is lime ice cream in a black waffle cone with purple sprinkles and two striped chocolate horns for $5.25. I had one of the horns and it was really good dark chocolate. Betsy said the ice cream was extra tart but super tasty!
