Before we begin today's post, take a moment to view this post from last year. Done? Perfect!

As you can see below, I have the sweater featured in my Dream Outfit for Christmas Tree picking!!! I scored it at The Outnet during their clearance sale for the slightly less insane, but still expensive, price of $229 (regular price $1075.) I had been in love with it since I saw it on Net-a-Porter last year and am so glad I took the plunge and splurged a bit on it.  Thankfully, it will never go out of style, who doesn't love a cute polar bear print sweater for the holiday season?

So, here's what I wore the day after Thanksgiving to pick out our family Christmas tree at Jones Family Farms! YAY! This is one of my favorite traditions each year, its so fun to hunt through the mountain of trees to find "the one."  I would have liked to buy a tree for my house, but they are too much work so I'm settling for a fake tree from Target. It still gets the job done and I can enjoy a real tree at my parents house, which is only 2 minutes away.

And some views:

Here is my Thanksgiving outfit! Thankfully (haha) I had a very short trip to my Thanksgiving festivities this day. I walked over this bridge, took a left and arrived at my Grandmother's house. It is so nice living near family, definitely one of the things I am thankful for each year.  Grandma is next door and my parents are a mile away.

Be prepared for a photo overload today!

I wore this the same weekend as my birthday brunch when my family went to the pumpkin patch - a tradition of ours, though we hadn't all been in a couple years.  I went straight from my Aunt's house (I was there the night before for a massage and movie night) so I didn't have time to change into old boots, luckily my new ones made it through okay after I wiped them down.

I always love the pumpkin patch.  The place we go has beautiful views and tons of pumpkins to choose from.  In addition to my pumpkin I also bought a bunch of adorable gourds to put on the mantel above the fireplace!

More photos from the pumpkin patch by a bunch of us:
On Friday it was cloudy, cold and a little rainy. So when my parents went for a walk I stayed at the house and fed some birds.  At first I was just throwing out bread, but seagulls started coming in so I decided to just sit in the (wet) grass and try to get a particularly chubby bird to eat from my hand.  It took about 20 minutes and constant deleting of video on my camera to make more space for me to get him on film!  My uncle was taking photos of me while all this happened and when finally we got it - video and the perfect photo of the bird eating from my hand. Thankfully my jeans weren't ruined by sitting in the wet grass, ha ha.  That was quite ramble-y...anywhoooo, enjoy the photos and video below!

Nighttime walks on the beach are a staple while on vacation.  The whole family would traipse all the way across the street and walk along the sand and boardwalk taking photos.  Unfortunately we had some rainy nights so we didn't take as many walks as usual.  BUT we luckily had a full moon during the trip and got some great photos!  I pretty much lived in this cashmere sweater at night and on the last 2 days of the trip when it was cold and rainy.  I was lucky enough to win it in Amy's giveaway a couple weeks ago and it arrived just in time to take along.
