Rather than doing a ton of posts featuring collections from New York Fashion Week like I usually do, I decided to be SUPER picky and just share some favorites from the whole week. Will hopefully do the same for the other cities. I went through as many collections as possible but there are far too many to go through them all. Ha ha.

Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE Star Wars, so naturally I had to love Rodarte's Fall 2014 collection. The last 5 looks all had Star Wars imagery on them, I actually want to buy one! Too bad they will be far too expensive. Those are the kind of pieces where you either love them, or hate them. I am probably in the minority, as most people find them a bit too out there. Laura and Kate Mulleavy always take us to new places and this year was no different. So much pattern and fabric mixing, and it was done right. Sometimes mixing patterns and textures can go horribly wrong, but here it was perfect. See my favorite looks from Fall 2012 and Spring 2012.

And next we have Mary Katrantzou's collection.

Here we go with Part 2 of my Fall 2012 favorites! I already did Burberry Prorsum and a Part 1 roundup. After this I'll just be posting favorites from Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Rebecca Taylor!

3.1 Phillip Lim: You know me and dark, rich colors, so this collection was love at first sight!

Michael Kors: I always love Michael Kors and this was no different. I really want to recreate the top right outfit, I just need the sequin skirt because I already have a huge sweater and tan sandals.

Miu Miu: Again with awesome rich colors! My favorites below: purple, teal & burgundy! Makeup is a bit odd...

Rodarte: I like that this isn't as wild as Rodarte has been in the past but it's unique & you can still tell who made it!

I was going to post an outfit today but I didn't have time on Monday and I was too lazy yesterday, ha ha...so I'll have to photograph today's outfit unless something insane happens.

Today I'm posting some more Spring 2012 looks that could also work for fall because of their color palettes. First up is the Rodarte collection. I love how they used Van Gogh paintings as inspiration and the dramatic makeup used. And as you all know I LOVE wearing purple, so that makes me love this collection even more.

Next we have Yves Saint Laurent, once again TONS of purple, YES! There are a lot of separates which is great because you can then mix and match all these great pieces together for many more looks. I'm glad to see the jewel tone trend is going to continue because those are the types of colors that look great on me.
