I've been back from London for 5 days, but thanks to the blog I get to relive it while posting outfit photos! Here are photos from day 1, December 28th. I flew out of New York City on the 27th and landed early on the morning of the 28th. My friends and I stayed in Notting Hill which has always been a dream of mine. It's such a pretty neighborhood with lots of colorful houses. Our street was all white but beautiful all the same.

After we arrived and checked into our Airbnb I changed into this outfit for our trip to the theatre. We saw Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which is a two part play taking place 19 years after the Harry Potter books ended.  Part 1 was on Wednesday evening so we had just enough time to run to the grocery store down the street, get a quick bite to eat and head over to the theater. We were lucky enough to get front row seats and were right in the middle of the action. We could literally see the spit from the actors (the guy who plays Scorpius Malfoy is particularly precise with his wording, but I LOVED him.)

Sweater: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Saks Off Fifth), Skirt: Sienna Style (Coco's $10 sale), Tights c/o Wolford, Boots: Vince Camuto (Marshalls), Coat: DKNY

It's my last post of 2016, so sad! Speaking of, that means it's time to reset my wardrobe update count. I didn't buy anything this month - GO ME! I did a pretty good job this year with some hits and misses in purchases. I'm quite proud of what I spent too, definitely less than the past few years! All in all I spent $1470.25 (that's not counting Christmas, birthday and advertising money)

I did make quite a few purchases that didn't get much wear but I'm still happy with them. I've only worn my Proenza Schouler pants a couple times but they're a statement piece so I think that's okay. I also haven't worn my awesome new Equipment blouse yet, but that's because I bought it 2 months ago and it was already too cold. Be prepared to see it a TON next Summer.

There were quite a few hero pieces though. My Saint Laurent patchwork blouse, Banjo & Matilda sweater, Banana Republic shorts, Ancient Greek Sandals, Gianvito Rossi boots aaaand, let's not forget the Lanvin sandals!!! By far my favorite purchase of the year.

Here's what I wore for our Christmas Day celebrations! We headed to my Grandmothers as we do most Sundays but this one was more exciting because it was Christmas! Duhhh! My cousins from Ohio came in and it was my cousin's baby's first Christmas! Babies always add more excitement to holidays, don't they?

I'm headed off to London tonight so I'll say Happy New Year now! I won't be posting, except for my December wardrobe update, so I'll see you when I get back! Be sure to keep up with my travels on Instagram!

Fur Vest: Romeo & Juliet Couture (from Lydia), Cashmere Sweater: Vince (Marshalls), Pants: Blank (South Moon Under), Boots: Chloe (Roundabout Resale)

I hope everyone had a great Christmas weekend spent with family! (Or a regular weekend for those who don't celebrate)  Only two outfit posts left for 2016, guys! Both are my Christmas outfits and then I'll be leaving you until 2017. I'm headed to London tomorrow night to spend New Years with the Brits.

Blouse: Jason Wu (Roundabout Resale), Skirt: Lauren Conrad c/o Kohl's, Tights c/o Wolford, Boots: Gianvito Rossi 'Finlay' (Marshalls)

It's Christmas Eve tomorrow, guys!!!! Tonight is one of my favorite Christmas-related days because it's the night my family watches our favorite Christmas movie - Scrooge! It's a musical starring Albert Finney and it is perfection. If you haven't seen it GO. NOW. WATCH.

Last night a smaller piece of the family (aka everyone but my brothers) watched White Christmas and the night before was Holiday Inn. On Tuesday we watched It's a Wonderful Life. Those are the only Christmas movies we have set days for, otherwise we watch on our own or together when we can. I always watch White Christmas multiple times. Other favorites include The Santa Clause, Ernest Saves Christmas and The Holiday (which I watch year round.)

I was going to take outfit photos of what I wore to Lydia's Christmas party last weekend but the weather was nasty so it's time to improvise! Here are outfits of Christmases past.
