This was a truly successful month! I didn't add anything new to my wardrobe; free, advertising money or otherwise! I guess buying a house really does curb your spending, right? I do have some advertising money burning a hole in my PayPal though, I'm waiting for the end of the Net-a-Porter sale to try and scoop something up at a deep discount!

I love these sandals. They were the first pair of Ancient Greek Sandals I bought back in 2013 when they only had about 5 styles. Now there are TONS to choose from. I have 6 pairs and would kill to have more. I usually buy a new pair each year but I'm trying to resist this year. Perhaps if I find a pair on sale!

Top: Michael Kors (Lord & Taylor), Jeans: Current/Elliott (sample sale), Sandals: Ancient Greek 'Ikaria', Necklace: Madewell

The Original:
This might be one of my favorite recent looks. I wasn't sure what to wear so I asked the boy to help pick out my outfit. First he decided on dark jeans and then wanted a lighter top. We were having trouble picking out a top so we moved on to shoes and he said "something bright!" so I grabbed these Sam Edelman espadrilles. Then we went back to looking for a top and decided on my loved but rarely worn (because it's white) French Connection sequin leopard top because the leopard's eye matched the sandals.

The bag was easy, we kept with the teal/blue theme with my Marc Jacobs bag. Finally I asked what jewelry I should wear and he wanted something else animal themed. I remembered this Forever 21 turtle necklace that I haven't worn in quite a while. Partly because it turns my finger green if I have it on too long and because when I first bought it I didn't realize it was a knockoff of this Noir ring. After finding that out I wanted to own one of their animal rings...it's still on the wishlist, sadly.

Sequin Leopard Top: French Connection, Jeans: J Brand 'Mid Rise Photo Ready Super Skinny Jean' (Gilt), Espadrilles: Sam Edelman 'Lars' (Net-a-Porter), Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Natural Selection Mini Messenger Bag' (Saks Fifth Avenue), Sunglasses: Gucci, Eyeglasses chain: Tinksky (Amazon), Turtle Ring: Forever 21

My photographer (aka boyfriend) wanted to take some photos of me in this dress at sunset. Sadly on the day we went to do it the sky wasn't cooperating the way he wanted. I still think the photos look great but he's not as happy with them as he wanted to be. Guess it just means we'll have to try another day with another dress!

This dress is one of my favorite Target collaborations. It's with Jason Wu and the print is so pretty! It has become one of my Easter dress staples. Whenever I don't know what to wear on Easter, I wear this (here, here, here.)

Dress: Jason Wu x Target, Sandals: Cole Haan 'Minetta' (Amazon), Necklace: Marrin Costello, Sunglasses: Gucci, Eyeglasses chain: Tinksky (Amazon)

Whenever we go camping in Vermont I have to make the 25 minute drive to The Vermont Country store to get some maple syrup, fudge and candy! This time was no different. We also went to The Bryant House for lunch which is right next door. My boyfriend and I each got the malted waffle and a johnnycake (forgot to take a picture of that) and my brother got the Chicken Pot Pie. Everything was delicious!

For our trip to the store I decided to wear a more normal vacation outfit instead of my camping outfits (jean shorts or hiking gear, haha.)

Cardigan: American Eagle, Dress: Zara, Sandals: old, Bag: Fossil (similar), Sunglasses: Ray Ban 'Erika', Eyeglasses chain: Tinksky (Amazon)

And now some photos from the store and restaurant!

This past weekend I headed to Jamaica State Park in Vermont for some camping! Originally my boyfriend and I were going to go for our 1 year anniversary in July but my parents planned a family vacation to Rhode Island so we changed our plans. We changed our dates to match up with when my Aunt & Uncle were going with my cousin and youngest and then my other brother tagged along as well! We've been going to this campground since I was 9 or 10 so it's one of my favorite vacation spots.

If you're within a few hours of it, Jamaica State Park is a nice cheap option for a weekend (or longer) trip! The trip was just over $100 and we divided that by 4 people, so super affordable! I call it half-glamping because they do have bathrooms and showers - you pay for hot water. I don't usually shower while we're there because I like to live dangerously (or swim in the river.)

The trip was full of hiking, (illegally) feeding chipmunks, sitting by the fire, eating smores and grilling up tasty food! We also spent one morning in Weston, Vermont to go to my favorite store. More on that tomorrow!  Here are some photos from the trip!

Always have to do a handstand
S'mores are the best!
Setting up the shot...
Can you see the Big Dipper?!!!

The mos treacherous trail. We biked 2 miles and then hiked UPHILL for 1 mile to get here.
