{outfit} The Long and Windey Bridge

We've still had a few chilly days here and there so I've been able to wear some of my lighter, non-full sleeve sweaters. I wasn't in the mood to wear all of my rings on this day so I wore one that was passed down from my paternal Grandmother. It's a really intricate ring with 4 opals and a tiny ruby in the middle. I don't wear it too often because a) it doesn't go with the rest of my rings since it's gold and b) I'm afraid to lose or chip it.

Sweater c/o Banana Republic Factory (Clinton Crossing),  Printed Silk Pants: Sea New York (The Outnet), Sandals: Seychelles (DSW), Bag c/o Orox Leather 'Merces Saddle,' Initial Necklace c/o Gorjana, Number Necklace: BijouLimon (etsy), Sunglasses: Chanel

  1. That is a really beautiful ring (and I always really appreciate it when a piece of jewelry has a history/story to it).

  2. It's so lovely to have jewelry passed down through generations, you should wear that ring more!

  3. I love the peplum hem and I really like that ring, what a beautiful piece! It's so nice to have pieces that are passed down. I have a ring from my grandma but with my eczema I haven't been able to wear any rings (even my wedding rings) for quite some time.

Hope that you are having a lovely week so far :) I've manage to catch my first winter bug )only 2 weeks into winter, ha!) So it's a low key one here!

  4. I don't think I had seen you wear that ring before - I love items that have history, specially of they belonged to a loved one.
