{outfit} A Spring Hair Refresh

As I've said a couple times in passing, haircuts were the first thing on our list after being fully vaccinated! We had our second shots at the end of April and scheduled our haircuts for the first Saturday after it took full effect. I haven't had a haircut since before our honeymoon in 2019...YIKES! Normally I go once a year and by the time the year mark rolls around I'm getting frustrated with the length of my hair. Waiting the nine extra months was a little crazy but since I wasn't going out anywhere why risk getting a haircut until it was safe to do so.

 

Christian goes more often than me, obviously, but I think his last cut was September 2020. We masked up and went to our usual salon. It was so nice having someone else wash my hair for a change and I left feeling a few pounds lighter! 

 

After my fresh cut I had to take outfit photos. Why waste styled hair, right?

    Your new haircut looks so cute! And I really like the purple cardi with the leopard print!

    This is a good reminder that I need to book in a trim for my hair, because I can't remember the last time I was at the hairdresser! I'm trying to grow my hair to donate it again so it just needs a little trim occasionally to keep the ends healthy :)

    I know I hear you! I am going on Saturday though the first time I got back to the salon was in February. And LOVE how you styled your hair, can you do a YT or TT video on how you get your hair to curl like this? Love it!

      I’m actually horrible at curling my hair! My hair stylist did it, haha! She did pretty tight curls and then brushed them out to make it more beachy. When I do try to curl it myself I use a curling wand and a tapered barrel.

    You look so cute with your fresh cut! I haven't been since Feb. '20 and while I love the length, the split ends are the worst!
