I wore two outfits for my Christmas celebrations last week. I only took dedicated pictures of one because I forgot the second day! We just had so much going on - oopsie! But there are a couple pictures from the 25th that my Mom took during the day.

Christmas Day: Elementz dress c/o ThredUp, Wolford tights (c/o), Elie Tahari x Design Nation jacket c/o Kohl's, 3.1 Phillip Lim 'Peggy' boot (Barney's Warehouse)
*note: moved this post since no one really saw it on Christmas Eve and I didn't want anyone to miss it!*

Happy Christmas Eve!!! I am in full holiday mode today! My Dad's side of the family is coming over to my parents house for our annual celebration and tomorrow it's off to Grandma's with Mom's side of the family.  I can't wait to see everyone and just relax.  This is the last real blog post of the week (taking Friday off from posting) so I made it a good one!

Whenever I get to take my pictures with Lydia they have to be my best outfits, so I re-wore this look that I didn't get to take pictures of on my own for our second shoot of the day. (we took two sets of outfit pictures, we like to get more than 1 done when we can)

Blazer: Etro (Roundabout Resale), Tee: Everlane, Jeans: Free People, Flats: Chanel (eBay), Bag: Chanel (Madison Avenue Couture), Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Henry Dinky' (Gilt), Necklace: Isabella M (gift from Lydia)

It's the eve of Christmas Eve! YAYY!! This is basically the day before Christmas for my family because we start our Celebrations on Christmas Eve with my Dad's side of the family coming over to our house.  Today is a pretty awesome day though, we watch my favorite Christmas movie: SCROOGE. It is a musical version of A Christmas Carol starring Albert Finney and it is amazing! Plus, it has Alec Guinness (aka Obi Wan) in it too.

I love this Stella McCartney sweater so much, since it's a holiday sweater it will pretty much never go out of style (for me, at least). It was featured on the blog two years ago as a Dream Outfit for Christmas Tree hunting, but then I got it on sale at The Outnet at wore it the following year when we got our Christmas Tree.

Polar Bear Sweater: Stella McCartney (The Outnet), Boots: Eighteen68 'Megan' (Gilt), Tights c/o Hanes, Sunglasses c/o GlassesShop, Watch c/o Movado, Bracelets: c/o Gorjana, c/o Fibi & Clo and gift my brother's girlfriend got for me in India

This big cardigan is another one of my great Net-a-Porter Sale buys, this year's sale is going on now, so be sure to check it out! The only problem with the sweater is I bought a size large because they didn't have my size and I really wanted it. Thankfully it doesn't look THAT big on, unless I zip it up. It keeps me cozy and warm on these almost-Winter days.

Cardigan: Burberry Brit (Net-a-Porter Sale), Sweater: Banana Republic (Outlet), Jeans: Current/Elliott (The Outnet), Boots: Vince Camuto (Marshalls)

It's starting to get chilly out there! We've had a few days with flurries lately, so a huge snowstorm can't be far behind. This sweater is one of my favorites, and it's from the men's department! Last year on a trip to Marshalls I wandered over to the men's section and saw a chunky purple sweater. Since purple is my favorite color I decided to pull it out, turns out it was MARC JACOBS and a size Small, I could totally wear that, although it would be over-sized. I am constantly wearing this sweater because it is so warm and cozy!

So, there you have it ladies, just because it's labeled "men" doesn't mean you can't wear it.  I also buy the men's tshirts from Everlane just because I like a longer sleeve and looser fit.

It was flurrying a bit while I was taking these pictures. Good thing these boots have a weather-appropriate bottom! I actually wore them last year after a huge snowstorm and they were almost better than my snow boots.

(psst...one week until Christmas!)

Sweater: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Marshalls), Turtleneck: thrifted, Jeans: Jolt (Marshalls), Boots: Cordani (Roundabout Resale), Necklace: Vanessa Mooney (giveaway win), Ring c/o Kendra Scott

Back in October, Harpers Bazaar shared a bunch of 70s style icons and there was a photo of Farrah Fawcett (below) in wide-leg denim with an oversized blazer and color coordinated button down. Immediately I thought of this vintage blazer I got a couple years ago and had to recreate the look! I even left my shirt unbuttoned an extra button! It looks as though she had one more button un-done, but I'm not that brave.

P.S. Some sale updates:
SHOPBOP: Extra 20% off sale with code EXTRASALE
NET-A-PORTER: Now up to 70% off in sale!

Blazer: PBM Women's/vintage (Coco's $10 sale), Top c/o Oasis, Jeans: Free People (Marshalls), Boots: 3.1 Phillip Lim 'Peggy' (Barney's Warehouse), Necklace: BijouLimon (etsy)

The Inspiration:
Guess what: 10 days until Christmas!  I've been reaching for this sweater a lot lately, got to wear the heck out of it before Christmas is over.  This particular outfit is from a couple weekends ago. It was a rainy day so I decided to have my Dad take pictures for me inside.

Sweater: J.Crew (Factory), Jeans:  Rag & Bone (Shopbop), Boots: Vince Camuto (Marshalls), Necklace: BubuRuby

I also took a few pictures of my Mom's awesome decorating. Every December our house is a Christmas wonderland. I hope that one day I'll have a house that looks like this. Sadly right now I don't have enough items and am not as good at interior design. (I did hang up the stockings and put the ornaments in the vase though, go me!)
