I'm assuming that I wore this outfit with a coat and not just this sweater since this look is from January. But it works perfectly for these early Fall days with no extra layers. Only 2 original pieces in this look today, but I do still have the flats. I'm wearing two new pieces. I changed into velvet mules I bought on the way home and my new Everlane jeans that were delivered!

Sweater: American Eagle, Tee: Everlane, Jeans: Everlane "The High-Rise Skinny Jean" in Mid-Blue, Velvet Floral Embroidered Mules: Zigi Soho (T.J. Maxx), Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Net-a-Porter)

I'm starting to run out of cute Summer looks to throw back to! Might have to start going back to 2014 and 2013 instead of trying to keep them a lot older. Hopefully I can still keep up this feature for another year, it's so fun to re-wear old outfits! This is another that is almost all original, I just don't have the tank top anymore.

Cardigan: Kohl's, Cashmere Sweater: Paolo Rodesco (Roundabout Resale), Skirt: American Eagle, Wedges: Madden Girl (DSW)

I wore this outfit almost exactly 7 years ago.  I still had 3 of the 4 original pieces, which is pretty darn good! This blazer is thick but surprisingly cool which made it perfect for when I was working in an office during the Summer. Obviously I don't go into an office anymore but it is still a wearable look for out of the office.

Jacket: Jones New York (Burlington), Tank Top: American Eagle, Jeans: FRAME 'Le Skinny de Jeanne' (Shopbop), Wedges: Simply Vera by Vera Wang (Kohl's)

After wearing my white jeans I decided to challenge myself to wear more of my white pieces. Up next, this super fun sequin leopard tee from French Connection. If it were any other color than white it would be worn ALL.THE.TIME. I decided to double up on the leopard with my Jimmy Choo pumps. I even finished it off with a red lip! I guess wearing the white made me feel like I needed a punch of color.

Disclaimer: I didn't wear these shoes while outside. I also wore a coat. That big dumping of snow we had last week was insanity. Some areas of the state had two feet of snow, luckily we had a little under a foot where I am. Spring needs to hurry on up so I can start wearing sandals again without freezing my toes off.

On a rather rainy day on our trip we decided to take a little field trip to Newport so I took the afternoon off work to join in on the fun. Luckily for most of our time in Newport the rain stayed away but we did have a 20 minute span of rain where we ducked into a store. I ended up buying a really fun opal (and I THINK sapphire) owl ring at the Armory Antique Marketplace. Opal is my birthstone and owls are one of my favorite animals so I couldn't resist him!

Dress: Splendid (Net-a-Porter Sale), Sweater: American Eagle, Sandals: Ancient Greek Sandals 'Alethea' (bought in Santorini)

My mom and I also matched on this day. She wore the zebra print pants I bought her for Mother's Day since she wanted a pair like my Sea New York silk pants.

Another look that has been in constant rotation over the years (with different shoes.) This is the perfect Summer sweater because it's so light. It is great for when there is a slight chill in the air or if you go to the frozen section of the grocery store. If only I had known when I bought it 5+ years ago, I would have gotten more colors! And the dress is one of my absolute favorites, gotta love Marc Jacobs!

I almost got rid of this skirt in a closet purge last year. I still don't wear it much because the slit is a bit awkward but I do like wearing it from time to time.  Decided to pair it with an equally daring top and some high heeled sandals. This tee is one of my favorites, which is very strange because it shows so much skin. Normally I like to cover up, as I'm sure you all know by now.

Cardigan: American Eagle, Tee: Urban Outfitters, Denim Skirt: Mother c/o Marshalls, Heels: Cole Haan 'Minetta' (Amazon), Necklace: Acanthus Jewelry

This outfit was my attempt at getting out of my style rut. It's still jeans and a cardigan but I tried to mix it up a bit with the distressed boyfriend jeans and oversized sweater plus super tall sandals. Luckily this sweater is thin enough that I can wear it when it's a little on the warm side. It won't be great for full on Summer, but it's great Fall through Spring!

Cardigan: DKNY (Net-a-Porter sale), Tee: Madewell, Jeans: American Eagle, Sandals: Guess (Marshalls), Necklace: Madewell

Here's a REALLY old one for ya! I found these pants again in my parent's attic and since I still had the sweater too it seemed like a no brainer. While the style of these pants is definitely dated, the color is super on trend.  These pants are from high school, so we're talking 2003 - 2005, I can't remember when I first got them.

Sweater: American Eagle, Pants: Bongo, Boots: No.704b (DSW), Necklace c/o Emitations

Sometimes I feel like matching colors in my outfits. I wore this hoodie to pull out the orange in my dress, the same with the shoes. Some people don't like matching too well, but I think it's fun! These two pieces have been in my closet of quite a long time, the dress for 5 years and the hoodie a few more than that. 5 years in the fashion world is quite a bit, but I'm sure they will stay around much longer. Also, my hair looks a bit split end-y in these photos...guess it's time for a haircut!
