Now that you've seen our couples Halloween costume and Wild Africa Trek tees it's time for the rest of the outfits we wore to Disney. Also sharing those two outfits again just so everything is all together. I packed light this trip with just 1 pair of shorts, a pair of jeans, 2 pairs of sandals, workout pants, my Halloween costume and tees for each day. I also had to bring sneakers for the first time on a trip so I wore those on the plane so they wouldn't take up valuable suitcase space.

EPCOT - Day 5

Most of our time not at the hotel was spent at EPCOT so we could snack on as many Food & Wine goodies as possible (and ride Guardians of the Galaxy a bunch)

Magic Kingdom - Evening 1

Right after we arrived to the Riviera Resort on Wednesday (at 7pm) we headed to EPCOT via the Skyliner to make our way to Magic Kingdom for Extended Evening Hours for Deluxe Resort guests. Along the way we stopped at a gift shop to pick up Annual Passholder magnets. We opted to go through EPCOT so we didn't have to take any buses. Once at the front of EPCOT we took the Monorail over to Magic Kingdom to spend a few hours with less people in the park.

Sweatshirt Tee: Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Fireworks Pullover (was only available 10/1/2021)

Christian and I are at Disney World this weekend for our anniversary and I thought I would share outfits from our last two trips because somehow I never did blog posts after we got back... whoops! It's also because I was lazy and didn't have Christian take individual outfit photos of what I wore (although we did do videos for a Reel in May!) Shame on me! I guess that means you guys get Disney couples outfits in addition to Disney outfits for women. YAY!

This is what I wore to our family Thanksgiving last Thursday. Normally I have two Thanksgiving outfits because we celebrate with Mom's side on Thanksgiving and Dad's side on the weekend. But this year due to scheduling issues we just had one celebration at my Mom's house with bits of both sides of the family.  I decided to wear my burgundy velvet pants of the occasion and paired them with my crazy Saint Laurent patchwork blouse. It goes with everything!

Blouse: Saint Laurent silk patchwork blouse (shop more blouses),Velvet Pants: Elie Tahari 'Shea Velvet Pants' (Shopbop), Heels: Coach 'Nacie' (shop more Coach shoes), Simple Pearl Necklace c/o AURate, Sunglasses: Gucci, Italian Leather Bag: shop mini bags

I bought this dress - for a STEAL on eBay - at the end of October and it was killing me knowing I would have to wait until next Summer to wear it. Then I remembered I had my trip to Disney a couple weeks ago and knew it would be perfect for my day at Animal Kingdom! I'm a major Disney geek so naturally I have Disney-related tees that I wear to all the parks but for Animal Kingdom I usually go for some sort of animal print and in this case a patterned Edun dress.

I hope all my American followers have a great Thanksgiving (and possibly long weekend if your employer is nice!)

Dress: Edun red printed silk dress (eBay), Sandals: Ancient Greek Sandals 'Athanasia' in Croc (Moda Operandi), Mickey Mouse Bag: Coach x Disney 'Patricia Saddle in Glove Calf Leather with Mickey Ears' (Coach Outlet), Magic Band: It's a Small World

I wore this for my family's early Christmas celebration on the 21st. We had to do it extra early this year because I came to Missouri to celebrate Christmas with Christian's family. My first Christmas EVER not at home, so weird! I haven't worn this dress in a while and decided to give it some love.

Dress: Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Dancing Lights' dress, Heels: Coach 'Nacie' (Marshalls), Necklace: House of Harlow 'Sunburst' (from Lydia)

On our last day of Disney we started our day at Animal Kingdom and then made our way to Hollywood Studios in early afternoon for a couple rides and then it was off to Epcot for the remainder of the evening! Our morning started off with one of my favorite rides at Disney, Kilimanjaro Safaris. One of my bucket list vacations is going on a real African safari but for now this shorter Disney version will do! (I'm currently saving up for the real one)

We were lucky enough to snag fast passes for Avatar Flight of Passage so we didn't have to wait in a 3 hour line. This ride is INSANELY good. So if you are planning a trip to Disney and are staying on property make sure to book your fast passes a full 60 days in advance of your stay so you can snag a fast pass for this ride! We were actually able to ride it Thursday evening when we arrived in Florida as well. WOO!

Animal Print Top: thrifted, Shorts: Madewell boyshort in Frances wash, Sandals: Ancient Greek Sandals 'Athanasia' (Moda Operandi), Bag: Disney x Coach 'Patricia' with Mickey ears, Sunglasses: Ray Ban 'Erika', Eyeglasses chain: Tinksky (Amazon)

Meeting Characters

Donald Duck

When Kristen was going to ride Dinosaur I decided to wait in a short line for a photo with the dino-digging themed Donald Duck before sitting down to wait for her. In the end she decided not to go on the ride so we took our photo with Donald and made our way out of the park.

Food

Satu'li Canteen

This was our second time eating at Satu'li Canteen this trip, we previously went on Thursday evening when we got to Florida. I love it because it's a healthier option and the price is really good. I buy the kid's meals so my meal was about $8! Kristen is also obsessed with their Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse. Kristen's brother joined us and had the adult version of my meal.
My Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken bowl on a base of mixed whole grains and rice with crunchy vegetable slaw from the kid's menu
Kristen's Slow Roasted Sliced Grilled Beef Bowl on a base of romaine and kale salad with crunchy vegetable slaw from the kid's menu
Kristen's Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse
Kristen's brother's Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken Bowl on a base of red and sweet potato hash with crunchy vegetable slaw, boba balls and charred green onion vinaigrette

Rides, Entertainment & Shows

Kilimanjaro Safaris

Unfortunately we had some annoying fellow passangers on our safari on this particular day. BUT on Thursday evening we had a really good group of travelers and our guide was amazing. We also got pretty lucky with animal sightings with some being VERY close to the vehicle. The safari is always one of the highlights of my trip. It's best to go in the morning or evening when it's not as hot so the animals will be more active. On my next trip to Disney I'm thinking about doing one of the special safari experiences, we'll see if I can save up the money in time!

Rivers of Light

When we were at animal kingdom at night we watched the Rivers of Light show on the water. I had never been in Animal Kingdom at night so it was my first time watching the show. It was pretty cool to see the interaction of lights, boats and water. Definitely a must-see at least once during your Disney travels.
