The return of my blanket sweater! I say so many of my sweaters are my favorites, and this is definitely one of them. I bought it last year and wore it on every single flight I went on since buying it (except Summer, obviously.) It's super cozy yet stylish. I am also aware that I wore these jeans in yesterday's post, but they're one of my favorite pairs at the moment, along with my high-waisted J Brands.

Cardigan: DKNY (Net-a-Porter Sale), Sweater: Everlane, Jeans: FRAME 'Le Skinny de Jeanne Jeans' (Shopbop), Boots: Vince Camuto (Marshalls), Necklace: Mom's

Sometimes when I'm browsing online stores I see outfits that I can recreate with pieces I already own and save them. I've had the inspiration for this outfit saved since May 2014 and FINALLY wore it...oops! I don't have a black button-down so I improvised with my DKNY cozy and turned it into a shirt. I think my look came out pretty good, what do you think?

Jacket: Evan Picone (Coco's $10 sale) Top: DKNY cozy (Marshalls), Jeans: J Brand (Marshalls), R2D2 Necklace c/o Kohl's, Flats: Chanel (Roundabout Resale), Bag: Chanel (Madison Avenue Couture)

This outfit is full of pieces that are extra long: high waisted jeans, over the knee boots and duster sweater. Even two of my necklaces are longer than what I usually wear. I wore this over the weekend for my cousins 15th birthday celebration. I can't believe my youngest cousin is already that old...I feel ancient! (Even though I'm definitely not, ha ha)

Top: DKNY Jeans, Sweater: J Crew (Roundabout Resale), Jeans: J Brand 'high rise Maria' (Gilt),  Boots: Audrey Brooke (DSW), Necklaces: grandma's gift from Lydia and c/o Marrin Costello, Sunglasses: Ray Ban 'Erika' c/o Ditto

This DKNY romper has been one of my staples this Summer. I brought it on every vacation since buying it in April and whenever I don't know what to wear I put it on.  I always wore it on it's own and with flat sandals so the last time I wore it I decided to dress it up a bit with espadrilles and a suede jacket. Probably not the best outerwear for Summer, but it looked so good! I bought these shoes in March 2011 for $86, so over 4 years and going strong! I do love a good purchase, even if it is a bit frivolous.

Romper: DKNY (Clinton Crossing Premium Outlet), Espadrilles: Burberry (The Outnet), Suede Jacket: Ralph Lauren (Marshalls), Sunglasses: Ray-Ban 'Emma' (Marshalls)

This is what I wore on the 4th of July. It was a little chilly during the day so I was able to wear a sweater over my romper. Probably not the best idea bathroom-wise, since I had to take off my sweater then my romper, but what can you do?

Sweater: Madewell (Shopbop), Romper: DKNY (Clinton Crossing),  Sandals: Ancient Greek Sandals 'Clio' (Nordstrom, Necklace: Indulgems (Gilt)

I wore this on Day 3 of our vacation, which was spent at Universal (again).  We finished the night at their 25th Anniversary Concert Series where I won 2 tickets for special seating in the Coca-Cola Ahh Zone. We got to see Huey Lewis and the News, who were amazing! They did one of my favorites songs, If This Is It, as well as some other classics like Power of Love and Heart of Rock and Roll. I was hoping they would do Stuck With You too, but alas, they did not!

Huey Lewis concert tonight! Yesssss!!!!

I finally got to wear my adorable new DKNY romper and I am in love! It is really soft and comfortable and actually looks good on me! I've had a hard time finding a romper that actually flatters me, so I'm pretty pleased. I forgot to take off my knee brace before taking photos, but let's just go with it and pretend I'm accessorizing!

Two of the days we were in Athens I changed my outfit for the evening. The first was for my friend Claire's birthday dinner. The second was because I hadn't taken pictures in my DKNY dress yet (even though I wore it in London one night.) It was still fairly warm in the evenings so I didn't really need the tights with my first outfit.

Tee: Cullen (Rue La La), Dress: 3.1 Phillip Lim (Roundabout Resale), Tights c/o Wolford, Necklace: Santorini, Boots: Vince Camuto (Marshalls), Rings: old, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Lumo 'Violet

Dress: DKNY (NET-A-PORTER), Sandals: Ancient Greek Sandals 'Alethea'

This has become my travel uniform. I've worn this sweater for every flight I've been on since buying it. These photos were taken behind Notre Dame in Paris after traveling for 15 hours. We left Boston at 10pm, arrived in London and took the train to Paris at 2pm. Rather than go to sleep when we arrived in Paris at 5pm we decided to take a lovely stroll through the streets of Paris and stay up as late as possible to avoid issues with the time change.

P.S. Happy Star Wars Day!! May the Fourth be with you! ;)

Yesterday I attended Clinton Crossing's Spring Fashion Preview event up in Clinton, Connecticut.  The event started at Saks Off Fifth where we were greeted by the staff and given our "itinerary" for the evening! Basically we got to stop off at different stores at the premium outlet to see what they have in store for Spring. Lydia and I met up for the event and then we ran into Wendy (and Greg) of Connecticut Lifestyles and Diana of Lady Diana's Pearls and decided to group up for the shopping.
After Saks, our first stop was Designer Fragrances & Cosmetics Co. to see what was new there. We got to pick out a lipstick, I chose L'Absolu Rouge in Berry Noir, and also received a few Kiehl's products. Next up was Club Monaco with a great selection of Spring pieces! I ended up buying a super soft (and nautical) cashmere sweater that buttoned up in the back. After using my $30 gift card from Simon's outlets I only had to pay $20! It was originally $198, then 70% off, an additional 20% off and then my gift card. Talk about a steal!

DKNY was next where we were greeted by Bill, the store's manager, who was super helpful as we shopped their colorful Spring line! He helped me pick out a few pieces and I ended up buying a romper. FINALLY! I've been looking for a romper for 2 years and hadn't been able to find one that flattered me. It was originally $79.50 and was 40% off so I paid $47, not bad. Sadly I can't find it online, but see it below or check out a dress in the same print!
After that we stopped off at Lindt Chocolate for a tasting! We tried their special drinks, I just got a dark chocolate hot chocolate, but both Wendy and Diana got raspberry hot chocolates! Basically, they take their truffles and turn them into hot chocolate, so you can choose any truffle for your drink.

Following that we quickly stopped in at Hanna Andersson, a Swedish inspired children's store full of ADORABLE pieces! If only I had a child to buy them for. There were some super super cute clothes, almost made me want kids right now!

Our penultimate stop was J.Crew Factory and by this point I was trying REALLY hard not to buy anything. Sadly, I found a super cute - and perfectly me - owl print pajama top. They only had larges left but at only $12.50 after discounts I couldn't resist! Lydia bought an anchor pj set, they didn't have the bottoms for mine.
The last stop on our tour was Aeropostale where we were kindly gifted a $50 credit! I bought an elephant print skirt, chevron dress and a printed long sleeve top! Not too shabby for $50. And I have updated my wardrobe recap accordingly since it was the last day of April!

And now, the outfit!

Tee: Everlane, Jacket: Elie Tahari x Kohl's, Jeans: FRAME 'Le Skinny de Jeanne' (Shopbop), Shoes: Miu Miu (eBay), Necklace: from Santorini, Sunglasses: Chanel,  Bag c/o Orox Leather
