*Onecklace gifted the piece featured in this post, but all opinions are my own.

Now that we're nearing the middle of November, it's time to start thinking more seriously about holiday gifts! For those ladies on your list that are hard to shop for, I recommend checking out the specialty jewelry at oNecklace. The snowflake necklace I'm wearing here is the perfect gift for someone who is particular about their jewelry and wants a more custom piece without it needing to be engraved with their name or their birthstone on it; which oNecklace also offers! See some posts of me wearing their name and birthstone jewelry here and here.

You're able to choose your metal, chain length, chain style and clasp! For my snowflake necklace I chose rose gold plating, 20 inch ROLO chain and a lobster clasp. I'm a huge fan of lobster clasps because they're far easier than those pesky spring clasps most necklaces come with. The necklace is nice and thin and I love the detailing of the snowflake's crystals.

I've been blog neglecting this cardigan a bit over the last year or so. I got it in January 2015 and wore it CONSTANTLY, it became my default airplane outfit and I loved wearing it. But I guess I thought I wore it too much and stopped wearing it as much. It hasn't been on the blog since last November (in a similar outfit) but I've worn it at least a few times in the past year, I swear!

Cardigan: DKNY Oversized striped knitted cardigan (Net-a-Porter Sale), Cashmere Turtleneck: Vince (Marshalls), Jeans: Everlane high-rise skinny jean in mid-blue, Ankle Boots: Candie's c/o Kohl's (also here),  Bag: Etienne Aigner (thrifted), Snowflake Necklace c/o oNecklace

If you follow me on  Instagram, you'll have seen that I was in Montreal last week. My husband's cousin and his wife invited us to join them for a quick Fall trip. On one of the rainier days (we had multiple) we headed to the BioSphere, an interactive museum dedicated to the environment. I had really wanted to go to the Biodôme but it's closed through Summer 2019. Such a shame! The BioSphere was pretty cool, even though the rain made it hard to view one of the cooler parts of the museum. Christian absolutely loved it because he's a sucker for science and being environmentally friendly (we'll eventually get solar panels for our house.)

I had different shoes in mind for this outfit but the weather made me wear my trusty rain boots.

Sweater: Banjo + Matilda Trinket Embellished Stripe Sweater (The Outnet), Corduroys: Abercrombie & Fitch, Rain Boots: däv, Bag: Etienne Aigner (thrifted)

And a few photos of the BioSphere

Last Thursday I attended Clinton Crossing's Spring Preview event. This is the third year of the event and I always manage to find something awesome! The first year it was my beloved DKNY romper, last year I got my Banana Republic shorts and this year it might just be the black suede mules I picked up at Saks Off 5th!

Before I recap the event - time to share the outfit!

Suede Jacket: Ralph Lauren (Marshalls), Top: Zara, Jeans: M.I.H. Jeans 'The TOMBOY' (Net-a-Porter), Studded Suede Sandals: Lanvin (Net-a-Porter), Bag: Etienne Aigner (thrifted)

On to the event! A selection of Clinton Crossing's retailers chose a selection of Spring must haves from their stores to showcase. There were also a couple giveaways where I won a Tommy Hilfiger bucket bag (similar) and $100 to the outlets (which I promptly used that evening!) I bought BCBGeneration 'Beverly' black mules at Saks Off 5th, G.H. Bass cargo pants and a cardigan that I can't find online.
Getting set up!
Lydia and I with the bags we won!
Always a great selection at Saks Off 5th!
Really loved this two-piece set from Saks so I went ot the store to try it on. Sadly I'm too short for it! I'm on my tippy toes in the picture and its still too long (Can't tailor them because they have a fun slit at the bottom)
Plenty of brights at Banana Republic!
Stripes are a Spring staple and these ones from Dooney & Bourke are great!
Dooney & Bourke has a line of MLB bags, super cute! Chico's is also getting in on the print fun for Spring.
How fun are these espadrilles from G.H. Bass! I was tempted to buy them but realistically I know I wouldn't wear them that much since I'm mostly a sandal girl come Summer.
More G.H. Bass shoes! this time their classic Weejuns in a bright blue.
Vera Bradley has introduced a new print exclusive to outlets! It comes in suitcases, bags, flip flops, water bottles and so much more!

Time for another look inspired by fashion week! Here's a nice simple, monochromatic look from Brooks Brothers. I went a little bit lighter than their navy but it's still quite similar. All you need are skinny cords, sweater and cardigan in the same or similar colors. Next find a matching bag and loafers, burgundy in my case. Top it off with a scarf tied at the neck and you're all set!

Funnily enough my bag and shoes are the same designer, bought at years apart, in different thrift stores. The bag was $2 and the shoes $4. Some of my best finds!

Cardigan: Kohl's (old), Sweater: Banjo + Matilda (The Outnet), Corduroy Pants: Abercrombie, Scarf: Jason Wu x Target, Bag: Etienne Aigner (thrifted), Loafers: Etienne Aigner (thrifted)
