{outfit} Layering Purple and Green

It's been a couple years since this sweater was on the blog, kind of weird since I still wear it. It used to be in heavy rotation back in the day but I wear it slightly less now so it will last longer. I bought it during LuckyFabb way back in 2012 with a gift card. These jeans on the other hand are rarely worn. Mostly because they attract anything that floats and I constantly have to lint roll t

{outfit} Embellished Sweater with Blazer

There are so many problems with this outfit post. But I hate waste and I was too lazy to put it back on and retake the photos. Ha ha. It was SUPER sunny so my Dad and I tried to take photos with me standing in the shade but for some reason they came out extra dark. I did my best to brighten them but they were beyond repair. I'm also wearing my bag backwards...GAH! But now you get a nice look at t

{outfit} Over The Knee Boots & Oversized Blazers

This blazer is one of my favorites. My blog friend Christine generously gave it to me a couple years ago because she was getting rid of it and knew I loved it. You can actually see her in it in this post from 2012! I wore it with super skinny jeans and over the knee boots to emphasize the oversized look. Funny how it makes my purse look less purple. My mom insists that it's burgundy but depending

{outfit} Spring is (Not) Here

Today is supposed to be the first day of Spring. Sadly it's still mighty cold out there! I know we don't go straight from cold to warm weather but I'm missing the almost-Spring weather we had a few weeks ago. We got into the high 60s and yet we're back in the 40s now. Annoying! Blazer: Evan Picone, Sweater: Madewell,  Jeans: Free People 'Jax' Patchwork, Boots: Vince Camuto 'Davila' (Marshal

{outfit} The Softest Tee

Here's one of my new buys from last month - a super soft purple tee by Vince! I got it for $20 at The Outnet, way better than it's retail price of $135. Not sure I would EVER spend that on a tee, even if I had all the money in the world. But it is mighty soft! Decided to go with some more purple for it's first outing. I wore this on a lazy Sunday and to help my mom do some Christmas shopping for

{outfit} Saint Laurent Blouse - Take 2

And here we are with outfit number 2 featuring my Saint Laurent patchwork blouse! For this look I paired it with dark jeans and crazy boots. It was actually warm enough without my jacket, but the wind made it necessary at some times.  You can see the effect the wind had on my hair, there were a bunch of shots with my face obscured by hair, very attractive! This is what I wore to go to Round

{outfit} A Christmas Carol

I wore this outfit to go see Charles Dickens' great-great grandson perform A Christmas Carol with my sister and her boyfriend.  Gerald did an amazing rendition of the story in just under two hours. I actually laughed out loud a few times, which is rare for me in public settings. I normally try to keep my emotions in check at movies/shows. We also had the chance to meet him earlier in the day

{outfit} A Perfect Gift

I have been in love with this purple blazer ever since Christine wore it to one of our blog meetups. Luckily for me, she surprised me with it the last time we met up for lunch! How did I get such awesome friends? I went very matchy-matchy with this outfit! Matched my blazer and tee to my Chanel flats and then matched my bag....what can I say, I like to match! Blazer: Evan Picone (from Christine)
