*Onecklace gifted the piece featured in this post, but all opinions are my own.

Now that we're nearing the middle of November, it's time to start thinking more seriously about holiday gifts! For those ladies on your list that are hard to shop for, I recommend checking out the specialty jewelry at oNecklace. The snowflake necklace I'm wearing here is the perfect gift for someone who is particular about their jewelry and wants a more custom piece without it needing to be engraved with their name or their birthstone on it; which oNecklace also offers! See some posts of me wearing their name and birthstone jewelry here and here.

You're able to choose your metal, chain length, chain style and clasp! For my snowflake necklace I chose rose gold plating, 20 inch ROLO chain and a lobster clasp. I'm a huge fan of lobster clasps because they're far easier than those pesky spring clasps most necklaces come with. The necklace is nice and thin and I love the detailing of the snowflake's crystals.

I've been blog neglecting this cardigan a bit over the last year or so. I got it in January 2015 and wore it CONSTANTLY, it became my default airplane outfit and I loved wearing it. But I guess I thought I wore it too much and stopped wearing it as much. It hasn't been on the blog since last November (in a similar outfit) but I've worn it at least a few times in the past year, I swear!

Cardigan: DKNY Oversized striped knitted cardigan (Net-a-Porter Sale), Cashmere Turtleneck: Vince (Marshalls), Jeans: Everlane high-rise skinny jean in mid-blue, Ankle Boots: Candie's c/o Kohl's (also here),  Bag: Etienne Aigner (thrifted), Snowflake Necklace c/o oNecklace

Do you and your significant other have a couple you identify with? For me and my husband (yep, we got married over the weekend!) it's Wall-E and Eve. It was the first movie we watched together, and technically our first date so now we buy all things Wall-E & Eve!

We're still in wedding season, and what's better than a personalized piece of jewelry for your loved ones as a special gift.  Recently oNecklace got in touch with me to check out their offerings. oNecklace offers personalized jewelry in 14K gold, sterling silver and even rose gold.  I decided to choose something from their ample selection of couples jewelry!

I chose the two heart necklace and put both our names and birthstones on it so it's completely unique to us!  It's such a cute piece and simple enough that I can wear it with any outfit. The only thing is it's a bit hard to read Christian's name because of the font, but mine looks perfect!  I got the 16 inch chain so it wouldn't hang so low but you can go from 14 to 22 inches on your chain.

Wall-E & Eve Tee: Target, Cardigan: Max Studio (gift), Jeans: Mother (Marshalls), Sandals: Malu c/o Marshalls, Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Natural Selection Mini Messenger Bag' (Saks Fifth Avenue), Two Heart Necklace c/o oNecklace

Earlier this month Azaggi jewelry offered me a couple pieces from their affordable and high quality line of jewelry. They have all different styles of jewelry perfect for everyday wear or special occasions. Azaggi is based in Los Angeles, CA and was founded in 2012. I really appreciate companies that give back and Azaggi supports environmental, educational, community, and charity campaigns. They are also committed to socially responsible sourcing and manufacturing to minimize environmental impact.

Since I'm reaching capacity on my fingers I decided to choose two sterling silver necklaces. I picked out a really pretty crescent moon and a tiny owl hoping I would be able to layer them together. I got a 20 inch chain for the moon and 18 inches for the owl and they work perfectly when layered. When I showed my mom she thought it was one necklace.

I am super happy with the quality of these pieces, you can feel the weight of the silver when holding on to the charms which I really appreciate. Sometimes with silver pieces can feel light and cheap, these feel like super high quality pieces without the large price tag. Both pieces come in under $40 ($38 and $33 to be exact.)

By a happy coincidence the necklace almost perfectly matches a pair of tiny owl rings my sister got me for my birthday a few years ago. Maybe I can get a pair of crescent moon earrings and do a nice mix and match!

*This post was sponsored by HauteTrader, I received HautePoints in exchange for this post, but all opinions are my own*

A few weeks ago I was invited to check out a super cool and unique shopping site, HauteTrader. To put it simply, HauteTrader is a way to trade your gently worn designer clothes with other women and also earn points that you can use to purchase pieces. Currently, if you add three items within 24 hours, you'll receive 100 Haute-Points to start you off!

I've found myself checking the site a few times a day to see if there are any new pieces I want to trade for. If you don't want to go through the hassle of selling pieces and making sure you get what they're worth, why not trade for an item(s) of equal value!? The site is so easy and painless to use - read on below my outfit for a breakdown of the process.

Here's an outfit featuring the first piece I acquired through the site, a Diane von Furstenberg dress! It's such a unique piece and I remember liking it when I saw it in passing online when it was readily available. The mix of prints is super fun, I always love a bit of zebra. About a week later someone sent me a trade offer for my ruched Burberry dress and I accepted! You'll see that piece on the blog soon, it's a Missoni dress!

What do you think? Is HauteTrader a site you would use as an alternative to consignment stores and/or eBay? I will definitely be using it in the future when I have designer pieces I no longer love.  Also, just for reading this post, use code TradeWMegan for a free trade!

Dress: Diane von Furstenberg 'Fanny' (HauteTrader), Suede Prism Pumps: Nicholas Kirkwood (NET-A-PORTER)

Let's walk through the process, shall we?! First, you'll need to add to your closet. It's super easy to do. Just take photos of your piece, name it, write a description, and fill in other necessary information (size, condition, etc.) Your items will then go through the approval process. Once they are accepted you can begin making trade offers.

Every accepted label has a Tier value of (1-4). The Tier number shows you the trade value and Haute-Point value of your listing. Tier 1 is 100 Haute-Points while Tier 4 is 400. When you trade a Tier 2 item, you'll receive 200 Haute-Points in addition to the item(s) you traded for!

I chose to add a few pieces that I rarely wear but was holding on to for no other reason than the fact that I spent a good amount of money on them and didn't want to sell them for less than what I paid. What's great about HauteTrader is that you are able to accept or decline any offers for your piece. It made me feel a lot better about parting with pieces when I knew I would get an equally great item, that I would wear more often, in exchange for my unloved pieces.
My Closet as of September 8th
Making offers is very simple! All you have to do is find an item you like, click "Make a Trade-Offer" and then choose up to three options for a trade. You can offer multiple items as part of your trade. The tradee can then choose which option she prefers or deny your trade. Fortunately for me, my first trade request went through without a hitch and was accepted within the 24 hour time limit!

The only thing I think is missing from this site is the ability to private message users. You'll have to write a comment on their profile or the specific item if you need to chat about something.

Once your offer is accepted you'll receive an email letting you know and asking you to pay the trade fee. HauteTrader charges $25 for Standard items and $50 for Premium items which includes signature confirmation shipping and handling. Just for reading this post, use code TradeWMegan for a free trade!

After both you and the person you've traded with have made your payments HauteTrader will send you a pre-paid shipping label so you can send your item to your new friend!
*Moonstone Magic gifted the rings featured in this post, but all opinions are my own.

Last Friday one of my best friends got married!! I decided to wear my new Who What Wear x Target dress for the occasion. I paired it with the Mejuri loop earrings designed by Jamie-Lee, color blocked sandals and my quintessential wedding bag by Marc Jacobs! I've had the bag since January 2011 after winning a gift card to Net-a-Porter in a Christmas giveaway.

I also got two adorable rings from www.MoonstoneShop.com and decided they would be a perfect simple accessory! They also pair wonderfully with my multitude of silver rings. I now have a ring for every finger, with a few extras, and these will be joining my everyday set because of their simplicity.

Dress: Who What Wear x Target, Shoes: Cole Haan (Amazon), Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Net-a-Porter), Earrings: Mejuri loop earrings, Rings c/o Moonstone Magic - Moonstone Ring - Moon Eclipse, Moonstone Ring - Petite Double
