I've been slacking on blog pictures lately thanks to either killer heat or rainy days. This Summer has definitely been difficult for blogging.  Luckily we had a stretch of good weather so I was able to get a few outfits shot for this week and next.

I've been meaning to wear this sweater for a while but the weather never seemed to cooperate. I was originally going to wear it with pants but decided to go for shorts instead since it's still pretty warm. I don't think these shorts have appeared much on the blog this Summer but they still remain one of my most worn pieces on super hot days. (Excuse the wrinkles in the shorts, I had been sitting a lot, haha!)

Turtleneck Tank: Highline Collective (Lord & Taylor),  Shorts: Banana Republic (Clinton Crossing), Slip-On Sandals: BCBGeneration 'Yerra' Slip-on Sneaker (DSW), Sunglasses: Gucci, Eyeglasses chain: Tinksky (Amazon)

As a continuation from last week, here's more white!  This time my crazy Zara shorts that I usually wear super high up on my waist. Otherwise they go down to my knees which isn't a very flattering look. I wore this when the temperatures finally started to go back up again, woohoo! We've had such a weird Summer with not too many super hot days.

Top: Highline Collective (Lord & Taylor),  Shorts: Zara, Mules: BCBGeneration 'Beverly' (Saks Off 5th at Clinton Crossing)

This is my first outfit wearing my favorite (okay, only) purple cape this season. What is happening?!! Normally I would have already worn it at least 3 times. It was a warmer day so I decided not to wear a sweater under it and opted for my sleeveless turtleneck instead. Paired with super skinny jeans and my new boots and you've got the recipe for a favorite look!

Cashmere Cape: b chyll (Roundabout), Turtleneck Tank:  Highline Collective (Lord & Taylor), High Waisted Jeans: J Brand 'Maria' (Gilt), , Boots: Gianvito Rossi 'Finlay' (Marshalls), Sunglasses: Chanel

After a week of sitting on my dresser (because of rain) I was finally able to wear my next sunglasses swap from Ditto! I really love this Prada pair because they're a bit quirky with the double bridge yet classic thanks to the tortoise pattern. If they weren't $385 (minus 15% for being a VIP) I would be very tempted to pay to keep them! But I'll just keep them a couple more weeks and swap for another pair. . And breaking out my customized Nike's for the first time this season! They don't get as much wear as they should, maybe this year I'll fix that. I got these at the RewardStyle NYFW party last year. Unfortunately I wasn't cool enough to get invited to this year's (the first one in 5 years I've missed.)

Cardigan: Marc Jacobs (Roundabout Resale), Turtleneck Tank: Highline Collective (Lord & Taylor), Jeans: FRAME Denim 'Le Skinny de Jeanne Crop' (Shopbop), Sunglasses: Prada via Ditto Endless Eyewear, Necklace: Madewell

Once again I couldn't resist a sale! I ran into Roundabout for a few minutes earlier in the month to bring in some items and it just happened to be the end of their sale, so it was 75% off clothes and 60% off shoes and accessories. I scored a pair of Cole Haan pumps that I had tried on almost every time I've visited the store. I also got a fun printed green tank for only $9.75 (it was brand new with tags!)

I also used some advertising money to buy a couple pieces for Fall. A black cashmere sweater and long sleeve tee from Everlane. I've been wanting both for quite some time, especially since I got my crazy Proenza Schouler pants, so it was the perfect time! Sadly the sweater is back-ordered until October, but I likely won't need it until then anyway.*

Finally I stopped by Lord and Taylor last week because I had a 25% off clearance coupon. I bought a dress and tank for $29 total! Woohoo!

*I was emailed last night and told the sweater is out of stock so they canceled that part of my order. Such a shame since that was why I made the whole purchase! Oh well.

Love designer sunglasses but too fickle to pick just one pair? Have no fear! Endless Eyewear from Ditto is here! I've been a fan of Ditto for a couple years but had yet to try out their subscription program. One of my favorite things is their DITTO Tool. You take a video of your face turning from side to side so you can try on any of their sunglasses on your face! So cool.

I've been wanting to try their Endless Eyewear program for a while so when they contacted me about testing it out for a few months my answer was easy! The program is super simple: pick a pair of sunglasses, wear them as long as you want then swap for a new pair! Shipping is free and you have unlimited swaps. Don't worry if you get a tiny scratch, your subscription includes insurance if there are any mishaps.

At $24 per month for sunglasses and $34 for prescriptions how can you go wrong? If you like the pair you're currently testing out you can purchase for 15% off. Sign up for Endless Eyewear with code CLOSETFASHIONENDLESSDITTO to get your first month FREE!

Normally I go for classic styles but since there was no pressure to keep them I decided to try out a "wacky" pair by Miu Miu for my first pick! I might try these fun Selima Optique's next, or maybe this Ray-Ban pair.

Top: Highline Collective (Lord & Taylor), Pants: Proenza Schouler (Yoox, also here), Ancient Greek Sandals 'Alethea' (bought in Santorini), Bag: Chanel (Madison Avenue Couture), Sunglasses: Miu Miu via Ditto Endless Eyewear

And Lydia and I coordinated by accident so we had to take a photo together:
