I wore this a few weeks ago to meet some friends for shopping and dinner. It was a rainy day but not super cold so I was perfectly comfortable in two sweaters. I was so excited about these jeans when I asked for the for Christmas and I've quickly found out I'm not going to want to wear them much in the cooler months because they look funny when I have to wear them with socks and shoes or boots. The looser fit on the jeans is something I'm not that used to so it feels frumpy when I'm all covered. I feel like in the Summer they'll get more wear since I'll be able to wear less on top and show off my toes on the bottom.

Cardigan: Charlotte Russe, Sweater: French Connection (Marshalls), Jeans: Everlane 'Mid-Rise Skinny',  Ballet Flats: Chanel (Roundabout), Necklace: House of Harlow 1960 'Five Station Blackened Arrowhead' (South Moon Under), Bag: Dark Purple Chloé Faye (eBay)

This is the first outfit that popped in my head when I thought about styling these boots I first posted last week. So far these boots are down to $6 per wear (I paid $12,) and I only need to wear them 10 more times to be at the optimal $1 per wear many strive for. I do love a good deal! Especially one that perfectly matches my Chloé Faye.

Turtleneck Sweater: Inis Crafts (Marshalls), Jeans: rag & bone skinny jean in Iris (Shopbop), Necklace: House of Harlow 1960 'Five Station Blackened Arrowhead' (South Moon Under), Patchwork Boots: Impo 'Omega' (DSW), Bag: Chloé Faye (eBay)

I decided to go blue on blue on blue with a hint of purple and leopard print for a lunch and shopping date with friends. You can never have too much monochrome, right?

Tee: Everlane, Corduroys: Abercrombie, Leopard Loafers c/o Joie 'Dylan', Necklace: House of Harlow 1960 'Station' c/o South Moon Under, Sunglasses: Gucci, Eyeglasses chain: Tinksky (Amazon), Bag: Chloé Faye (eBay)

Can you believe it's already August! Insane how fast the Summer is flying by.  As a secondary post to last week where I mentioned I hardly ever wear white, I decided to break out my white Mother denim jeans. I bought these during my partnership with Marshalls back in 2014 where they asked me to wear something I normally wouldn't feel confident enough to wear. I've tried to wear them at least once a year since then. This time I wore them with some brighter colored pieces.

Leopard Tank Top: Marc by Marc Jacobs c/o ThredUp, White Jeans: Mother Denim 'The Rascal' Crop c/o Marshalls, Espadrilles: Sam Edelman 'Lars' (NET-A-PORTER), Sunglasses: Chanel, Necklace: House of Harlow (South Moon Under)

This is me trying to brighten up a gloomy (almost rainy) day. How'd I do?! I bought this jacket almost exactly 4 years ago at Target and while it doesn't come out often it always bring a smile to my face. I mean who doesn't love a bright purple rain jacket?!

Floral Jacket: Target, Turtleneck: Vanessa Bruno (Coco's $10 sale), Jeans: Free People, Necklace: House of Harlow (from Lydia), Two-Tone Sandals: Cole Haan 'Minetta' (Amazon)

Here's one of my new buys from last month - a super soft purple tee by Vince! I got it for $20 at The Outnet, way better than it's retail price of $135. Not sure I would EVER spend that on a tee, even if I had all the money in the world. But it is mighty soft! Decided to go with some more purple for it's first outing. I wore this on a lazy Sunday and to help my mom do some Christmas shopping for my siblings. (Might have thrown in something for myself too, ha ha)

Blazer: Evan Picone, Tee: Vince (The Outnet), Jeans: J Brand '811 Photo Ready Super Skinny Jean' (Gilt), Boots: eBay, Necklace: House of Harlow 1960 'Station' c/o South Moon Under (also here)

I picked a bad day to wear this sweater. I was also really stupid and got a (free) venti hot chocolate and proceeded to overheat. So after getting home from grocery shopping (and a Target trip) with my mom I changed clothes. Ha ha. Also: wear socks when you wear sneakers. I got sneaker burn on my big toes and blisters on my heels. GAH!!! On the plus side, I quite like all my turquoise accents in this outfit!

Sweater: Inis Crafts (Marshalls), Jeans: Genetic Denim, Sneakers: Ked's (DSW), Necklace: House of Harlow 1960 'Sunburst'

This was the third and final time I wore these Karen Walker sunglasses. They're really fun but definitely a statement piece and I prefer my more subdued pairs, even if they are tortoise print they're a little calmer. But that's the great thing about Ditto's Endless Eyewear. It let's you play around with styles you wouldn't normally gravitate toward. Use code CLOSETFASHIONENDLESSDITTO for your first month free!

Funnily enough, these sunglasses aren't the craziest thing about my outfit. These pom pom sandals have been getting me quite a few weird looks, but who cares, they're fun! A woman at Target looked very confused by them, ha ha.

Dress: Miss Selfridge (Lord & Taylor), Bag c/o Orox Leather Company, Pom Pom Sandals c/o Soma, Sunglasses: Karen Walker via Ditto Endless Eyewear, Sunburst Necklace: House of Harlow 1960 (gift from Lydia)

I'm am (or should be) home from Aruba! My flight got in at 12am and I'll be spending the day working at my Aunt's house since she's only 20 minutes from the airport and I didn't want to drive an hour home after landing so early (or late). This is a pre-scheduled post from a couple weeks before I left.  I'll probably share some vacation photos next week - I may or may not have taken outfit photos. Haven't decided as of the writing of this post. I'm also off to Rhode Island for a week on Saturday, but I'll be working from there.

Top: Tinley Road (Piperlime), Shorts: Zara, Sandals: Mula c/o Marshalls, Necklace: House of Harlow 'Sunburst' (gift from Lydia)

A casual weekend outfit worn to hang around the house and read in the yard. This sweater is another one of my great steals, $8 from Goodwill at least 5 years ago. I also have a feeling this is going to be my jacket of the Summer. I've had it since 2 Memorial Days ago but I've been wearing it a LOT more this year.

Chambray Bomber: Cloth + Stone c/o Marshalls, Sweater: Ralph Lauren (Goodwill), Jeans: Current/Elliott skinny jean in Love Destroyed, Sandals: Sam Edelman c/o ThredUp, Sunglasses: Chanel, Necklace: House of Harlow 1960 (gift from Lydia)

We've had quite the cold snap this week starting with some snow on Sunday. We've had snow in April before (even May!) but it's still annoying.  But it did give me a chance to wear my cozy Witchery sweater again!

Sweater: Witchery, Jeans: J Brand '811 Mid-Rise Skinny', Loafers: Joie, Necklace: House of Harlow 1960 'Sunburst Pendant'

Wearing black doesn't have to be boring, and it isn't! I may be in all black (except the bit of gray in my sweater) but the details make the look. The zipper detailing on the jeans adds a fun touch and the black and gold necklace is a perfect pop over my black tee. So forget all those people that say wearing black makes you boring! Black is the best!

I hope everyone who celebrates has a Happy Easter this weekend! We will be celebrating on Saturday and Sunday with each side of the family, ha ha. But you know what that means: two Easter outfits! WOO!

Cardigan: Charlotte Russe c/o Tanger, Tee: Cullen (Rue La La), Jeans: J Brand c/o Marshalls, Flats: Chanel (Roundabout Resale), Necklace: House of Harlow (South Moon Under)

Stop the presses! I broke my jean streak and wore a skirt! I paired it with a super comfy sweater and over the knee boots to minimize chilliness.  The only problem with this skirt is it is SUPER high waisted, we're talking inches above my belly button. But I can take a bit of discomfort in exchange for a pretty skirt.

Coat: TJ Maxx, Sweater: Madewell, Skirt: Chanel (Roundabout Resale), Boots: Audrey Brooke (DSW), Necklace: House of Harlow (gift from Lydia)
