{outfit} Cherry Blossoms in Spring

A little late, but here's what I wore for Easter! We got lucky and the flowers were blooming at one of my usual photo locations, ha ha. This whole street is lined with these trees, I love that the homeowners all decided to go along with this town park to add them to their lawns too. Makes it so pretty. These cherry blossom print pants were perfect for the occasion and paired nicely with my d

{outfit} The Grandpa Tie Skirt

I hope everyone had who celebrates enjoyed Easter/Passover/Ramadan this past weekend. We had part 1 of our Easter with Mom's side of the family. This Saturday we're doing part 2 with Dad's side. This skirt isn't the most Eastery thing in my closet but my Mom just finished making it a couple weeks before and I wanted to wear it ASAP!   Last year, or maybe even longer ago, I had seen someone

{throwback} How I Wore It Then to Now

Since Christian and I didn't get out to take photos this weekend I thought I'd bring back my How I Wore It series. We're headed into Spring so I'm focusing on florals and bright colors. Hopefully we'll go for a walk this weekend so I can take some outfit pictures for next week. I'm not a huge fan of taking pictures in front of our house (don't want the neighbors to think I'm a weirdo) so not sur

{outfit} A Spring Picnic

I bought a super cute picnic basket at Good Will last month for $5 and Christian and I finally used it for a little picnic.  For this first one we did a super simple one, maybe next time we'll have fancier food. But you can't beat a $4 foot-long sandwich, right? Dress: Jones New York 'Jasmine' giraffe print  (Lord & Taylor), Sandals: Malu c/o Marshalls, Picnic Basket: Good Will, G

{throwback outfit} Revisiting April 7 2011

How is it already almost the end of March?! The beginning of the year has flown by so quickly! For this week's throwback I tried to go for a liiiittle bit more of a Springy look even though it was still chilly out. This dress is from the height of my Marc Jacobs obsession. I scored it for $27 on eBay and wore it to DEATH. Now it mostly sits in my closet because it's loosened a bit with age, ha ha

{throwback outfit} Revisiting October 9 2010

Wow, it's been a little over SEVEN YEARS since I wore this outfit. I still have the top half but the bottom half has long since gone. And good riddance! It's so loose and baggy. This updated version is far superior. It's amazing what happens when you have pieces that fit properly. Although I suppose non-skin tight jeans and baggy boots were in style. Blazer: Jones New York, Tee: Urban Outfitters

{throwback outfit} Revisiting June 18 2010

Here is another outfit where I only had 2 of the pieces left in my closet. I'm only wearing one in this recreation because I'm not a huge fan of the sandals, not sure why I'm holding on to them still...perhaps it's time to let them go. Blazer: Jones New York (Burlington), Top: MICHAEL Michael Kors (Lord & Taylor), Jeans: FRAME 'Le Skinny de Jeanne' (Shopbop), Sandals: Mula c/o Marshalls
