You may remember last month I did an outfit post and included a dress as an option for recreating the look. I couldn't help myself and bought the dress, ha ha! This brings my Edun dress collection up to 4! what can I say, I know what I like. The seller sent me an offer for $17.50 (it was listed for $25) and that was too good of a deal to pass up for an Edun dress! I actually found a photo of someone wearing it to the Spring 2012 show at New York Fashion Week and the print seems to be part of the Fall 2012 collection, but this is a modified version of the look.

My obsession with sweater tanks also continues. I prefer them to tees in Summer so I'm growing my collection. Tried on 3 on a recent trip to Marshalls but only 1 was good enough. The second was too short and the third was weirdly bunchy in how it fit on my body.

And Disney & Old Navy got me. They made a super cute Fall Mickey Pumpkin cardigan! I actually ordered 3 different sizes because I wanted to see if I could fit in a kid's size and got an adult one as backup. I tried a Kid's XL Plus, Kid's 2XL and Adult PS. The 2XL ended up being the best fit, but they were all very close in size. I also prefer the kids sleeves and the fact that the center pumpkin is not cut in half like on the adult size. When I ordered I had a $20 off of $50 purchase so I also grabbed some tees and a tank to save me $60 on the purchase. Then I returned the 2 other sweaters and ended up spending $38.11 on 4 items when just the cardigan would have been $39.99 ($49.99 if I got the adult size.) Now that's shopping smart!

I was not intending on taking outfit photos the day I wore this. Christian and I had a bunch of errands to run in the morning and after having an overindulgent lunch at Chili's (to use my free birthday dessert!) we decided to take a long walk in the park. It was too pretty to not snap a few photos so you get to see a super simple outfit and no makeup. Jeans, tee, cardigan - done!

It was a PERFECT Fall day so we ended up staying over an hour just walking around and chatting. Simple pleasures. A nice change from sitting on the couch on my computer all day. We were also having a nice laugh watching the park rangers go around the parking lot giving people tickets if they didn't have a park sticker. We don't live in town anymore so we actually bought a non-resident sticker so we could continue to come to this park.

As I've said a couple times in passing, haircuts were the first thing on our list after being fully vaccinated! We had our second shots at the end of April and scheduled our haircuts for the first Saturday after it took full effect. I haven't had a haircut since before our honeymoon in 2019...YIKES! Normally I go once a year and by the time the year mark rolls around I'm getting frustrated with the length of my hair. Waiting the nine extra months was a little crazy but since I wasn't going out anywhere why risk getting a haircut until it was safe to do so.

Christian goes more often than me, obviously, but I think his last cut was September 2020. We masked up and went to our usual salon. It was so nice having someone else wash my hair for a change and I left feeling a few pounds lighter!

After my fresh cut I had to take outfit photos. Why waste styled hair, right?

*oNecklace gifted the piece featured in this post, but all opinions are my own.

Do you and your significant other have a couple you identify with? For me and my husband (yep, we got married over the weekend!) it's Wall-E and Eve. It was the first movie we watched together, and technically our first date so now we buy all things Wall-E & Eve!

We're still in wedding season, and what's better than a personalized piece of jewelry for your loved ones as a special gift.  Recently oNecklace got in touch with me to check out their offerings. oNecklace offers personalized jewelry in 14K gold, sterling silver and even rose gold.  I decided to choose something from their ample selection of couples jewelry!

I chose the two heart necklace and put both our names and birthstones on it so it's completely unique to us!  It's such a cute piece and simple enough that I can wear it with any outfit. The only thing is it's a bit hard to read Christian's name because of the font, but mine looks perfect!  I got the 16 inch chain so it wouldn't hang so low but you can go from 14 to 22 inches on your chain.

Happy Monday! Today marks the return of my favorite sandals to the blog - my Lanvin studded suede sandals! I'm still searching for another pair (size 38 or 38.5) for when these eventually get worn out but I've only found a 37.5 in the past couple weeks. I loved them enough to dedicate a post to them in February 2016 when they first appeared on Net-a-Porter for $795 (I think) but didn't buy them until they were added to the Summer End of Season Sale that July - which is going on right now! I scooped them up for $316, still pricey but totally worth it in my opinion!

On our second day by the sea we made our breakfast again, went down to the beach for the morning and had lunch at the restaurant on our beach, Da Adolfo. After lunch we hung out until their shuttle boat to Positano central came in to bring us over. It was quite a process to get on the boat, but I'll share that in my guide tomorrow. It's a rather amusing story. We then spent a few hours exploring the shops in the center of Positano and then took a bus back to our airbnb. Thank goodness we didn't have to climb the steps from the beach a second day!

I wore a dress I got for Christmas, trusty Ancient Greek Sandals and my new bathing suit! Unfortunately I didn't get a good photo of it, so this mediocre one will have to suffice. It's the only one where I don't look like a beached whale, haha. I swear the bathing suit is cute!

I'm not in Paris, but it felt appropriate to wear my Paris map print dress by Carven while in Florence! Since we were going to be visiting churches I had to make sure my knees and shoulders were covered, hence the cardigan even though it was warm enough to go without. This was one of the busiest days of our trip, I think it clocked in as 10 miles walked on our devices. Insanity!
