Here's my last post from Nashville. The convention center had an Alice and Wonderland theme. It was very cool, huge flowers and other Alice-looking pieces all throughout the property. they even had characters walking around like at Disney. I just had to take photos with some of the huge lighted flowers. I had wanted to wear this combination for a few months but had to wait for it to be warm enough for such little clothing.

This is what I wore for the last day of our trip. We spent the first part of the day at The Vatican Museums and St Peter's Basilica and when we finished early and I hadn't bought any clothes yet I dragged my friends back to the shopping at the Piazza di Spagna (near the Spanish Steps.)

I had wanted to buy a bag or shoes but I balked at the prices even though I had already pre-decided I could splurge. In the end I got some really fun Gucci aviator sunglasses! Now that I'm home though, I'm thinking I should have gotten this GG Marmont velvet shoulder bag I saw since it was "only" €1090 ($1220), so I would have saved almost $400...GAH!! Oh well, I'll just keep saving up for my dark plum Chloe Faye bag (if I can still find it somewhere when I have enough. following a couple on eBay)

For some reason this cat print Equipment blouse screamed Rome to me. Of all the places we went it seemed most appropriate to wear it here. Maybe it's because of gladiators and the Coliseum? I wore these pants two days on the trip and it was great because I was able to use the big pockets to hold my stuff instead of the tiny blue bag I brought to avoid pick-pockets (see it here.)

After Florence we took a train to Naples where we rented a car to drive to Positano. On the way we stopped at Pompeii to take in a bit more history. We intended to stop at a pizza place in Naples my aunt recommended on the way but it was only 11am and it was closed so we found a place on Yelp that was close to where we were. Sadly it wasn't very good and I was really looking forward to Naples pizza since it's supposed to be the best. Oh well. (I also didn't really care for Naples in general from the ~30 minutes we were there. It's like a way more sketchy, dirty and smelly New York City. But NYC is awesome. But I can't fully judge after a half hour.)

My friend is the master of taking a ton of pictures before the actual picture, so here's an amusing action shot of me jumping up onto the wall.

And here are some photos from Pompeii. Truly spectacular. It's amazing how much survived and is still standing. I was mesmerized by all the frescoes on the remaining walls. Some of the colors were still so vivid!

I'm not in Paris, but it felt appropriate to wear my Paris map print dress by Carven while in Florence! Since we were going to be visiting churches I had to make sure my knees and shoulders were covered, hence the cardigan even though it was warm enough to go without. This was one of the busiest days of our trip, I think it clocked in as 10 miles walked on our devices. Insanity!

This is my last full outfit post from Florida because time ran away with me the rest of the time. We had some pretty busy days running around the parks to different panels and the "expo" full of Warner Bros. and Harry Potter products.  These photos were taken at the GORGEOUS Portofino Bay hotel, one of Universal's premium hotels. Universal was kind enough to put us up here for 2 days of our trip. The other 4 nights were spent at my other favorite Universal hotel - Cabana Bay (stay in the poolside family suites!!) When you stay at Portofino you really feel like you're in Italy, but it's Florida!

As you have seen on my Instagram, I was in Florida last week. I was attending the 4th annual Celebration of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Orlando for my Harry Potter and Matthew Lewis fan sites.  The event was Friday - Sunday but I made a bigger trip out of it and went Wednesday to Tuesday AM, but worked Thursday and late in the evenings.  Our first day was nice and warm so I was able to wear a tee! Sadly the rest of the trip was COLLLLDDD! And, of course, it was back in the 70s right when we left and I came home to a snow storm.

Another Thursday, another throwback outfit. I do technically still have the original sandals from this look. But they currently have a different color fabric/tie and I was too lazy to switch back to brown, haha! So I switched it up with one of my favorite Ancient Greek Sandals.

P.S. Happy September!!
