This has become my travel uniform. I've worn this sweater for every flight I've been on since buying it. These photos were taken behind Notre Dame in Paris after traveling for 15 hours. We left Boston at 10pm, arrived in London and took the train to Paris at 2pm. Rather than go to sleep when we arrived in Paris at 5pm we decided to take a lovely stroll through the streets of Paris and stay up as late as possible to avoid issues with the time change.

P.S. Happy Star Wars Day!! May the Fourth be with you! ;)

Tee: Everlane, Jeans: J Brand 'Maria High Rise Skinny' in Supreme (Gilt), Sweater: DKNY (Net-a-Porter Sale), Bag: Chanel, Sandals: Ancient Greek Sandals 'Astrapi', Sunglasses: Ray-Ban 'Erika' (Ditto)

Tomorrow night I'm off on my European Adventure!!!! I've been planning this trip with my friend Kat since last August (although we didn't really start planning until October 2014.) Using a website like Consumers Advocate to search for suitable hotels can really help you nail down an itinerary for your trip. We're flying to London and then getting on a train for Paris right after arriving! After enjoying some French food (and macarons) we'll be back to London for a few days and then it's off to Santorini and then finally Athens! I'll be back on April 27th!

Rather than sharing outfits I decided, to share some fashion week recaps just so the blog isn't silent while I'm away. It felt weird to leave nothing scheduled for two and a half weeks.

See you on the flip side! And make sure to keep up with my adventure on Instagram!

The latest issue of NET-A-PORTER's online magazine featured all things French and was called "The Paris Portfolio"! The issue contains interviews with fashionable French women such as Isabel Marant, French designers to keep a lookout for, beauty tips, how to dress with the simplicity of the French and much more! There is also a video where French women (and men) talk about the secrets of French style.

Doesn't it make you jealous how effortless they look all the time?! Well today I have a few quick tips on how you can dress like the beautiful Parisian hiding inside of you! (that sounded weird, but let's pretend it makes sense) I've decided to create a couple looks using some of the classic french pieces we all know and love: the striped shirt, skinny pant, flats and the trench!

You can put your own twist on this look and come up with infinite variations that fit your own personal style. For example, you can wear a striped top with sequins on it (or perhaps different types of stripes), trade the pants for shorts or switch the basic flats for sequin brogues or flat sandals. You also want to make sure you keep your accessories simple, the French are known for not going over the top.

Would you guys like me to do a Dress for Less version of the Parisian look? Let me know in the comments and, if enough of you want, it I'll whip one up!

For more inspiration on dressing this way, I suggest you check out Becky May's blog: The Flower Girl. She may be a Brit but she dresses like a Parisian, I am in awe of how simply she dresses - she always looks amazing.
Day 4 of vacation was spent in Paris!! The first thing we did after getting off the train was stop at a sidewalk cafe right outside Notre Dame. I had eggs and bacon (the bacon was more like ham...eww), and we also each got a croissant and had some fruit.
After that we explored Notre Dame for a long while, then went into a few shops down the street before going to the back of Notre Dame to rest our feet for a bit.
THEN we walked to the Lourve, the actual museum was closed but we hung out outside by the pyramids for a while and slipped our feet in the pools.  We also got some tasty ice cream, I got chocolate..mmm!
Next it was off to the Eiffel Tower, and on the way we found a Harry Potter poster!! Woo!! Also, we found French Harry Potter books at one of the street vendor things, I got 2, ha ha. :)
Then we headed off to another cafe and got dinner. We also each tried a snail...EEEEW! :p They actually weren't all that bad, but I don't think I'll eat one again.

Finally we headed to find a Chanel store and Laduree. Sadly the Chanel was closed by the time we got there but we did manage to find a Laduree and got some tasty macarons!! I got all chocolate, ha ha...mmm....
Well, I left to go to London yesterday for a week, which means I will be there by the time this posts, YAY! I am also going to NYC right after London and will be coming home for good on July 12th.  I don't have any posts scheduled (except for this one) so I may not update for the week and a half.  I will still be posting on my Twitter though, so make sure to follow if you're not already!

I have wanted to go to London for as long as I can remember and I am so excited to finally be going!  It's going to be a bit strange for me since I'm not bringing my computer, just my iPad (I'm hardly ever without my computer). We're right in the middle of crunch time for Harry Potter news so my HP site won't be as updated as it should be, AHH!

I am going with 6 other girls and one husband and we rented a flat for the week [2 of the girls had to drop out of the London part so we had to get 2 more people so a husband and wife team are joining us].  We have so much fun stuff planned, I'm also very excited to go to Paris on Tuesday, EEEP! We're also planning on doing Harry Potter tours, the Monopoly Pub Crawl (going to a bunch of bars), Tea at the Ritz, Notting Hill/Portobello Road Market, the obligatory Beatles photo at Abbey Road and whatever else we can think of! The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II premiere is also while we are there and I will be on the press line!

Then in New York we're going to the Harry Potter Exhibition on Sunday and seeing Daniel Radcliffe's play 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying'. Finally we have the Potter US premiere on Monday. Luckily a spot opened for me to be press on the red carpet in NYC as well, YAY!

See you girls soon!! I'll update if I can and I'll try to comment a bit on blogs before I go to sleep so I don't miss anything exciting on your blogs ;) (but I may be having too much fun)
