No real post today, I wanted to ask all you guys for your opinions on the blog instead.  So here are some questions I've been pondering recently:
  • What do you like about the blog?
  • What do you dislike about the blog?
  • What do you want to see more of?
  • Is there anything missing from my blog that you would like to start seeing? (maybe something another blogger does that you think I might be able to do as well but put my own spin on it)
  • Do you enjoy my monthly spending challenge recaps, or do they annoy you?
  • What is your favorite feature: Dress for Less, This Week in Fashion, Daily Inspiration, Bangin Bargains, Closet-Worthy (I haven't done that the last 2 in a while...should probably revive them...), etc.?
  • Do you hate my outfit photos because they are in front of my closet? Should I try to get a better location? (keep in mind that I don't really have anyone to take photos of me...but I can use the self timer...)
  • And ANY other comments you have on the blog, whether they are good or bad.
Please be as honest as you can, I don't mind criticism, I want this next year of blogging to be enjoyable for all of us and I figure the best way to do that would be getting your input.

Update: Net-a-Porter has emailed to let me know that their End of Season Sale will be ending at midnight EST, Sunday January 9th. and starting today they are taking an extra 20% off ALL SALE ITEMS! So make sure to RUN over and check out the sale.
This is a bittersweet post for me, but almost all sweet!  Pretty much everyone that visits my blog LOVED my old header and made sure to tell me so, and so did I (I made it, so of course I would like it).  But I felt that it didn't really represent the title of the blog, "Closet Fashionista," since it was just a picture of a pretty model...so I felt a change was needed, luckily I found the solution!

A few weeks ago I saw a GORGEOUS header that Rach at Visual Basic did for A Cup of Style.  I headed to her blog and was going to email to ask if she would do one for me, luckily she had decided to accept commissions for headers!  So I sent her some shots of my favorite clothing I own, so it is all featured in the header (the bags are just lust items, the Proenza Schouler PS1 and Chanel 2.55 ;) )

I love her blog SO much, everyone needs to check it out.  Every Sunday she does a "Blogger Sketch" post where she does beautiful sketches of fellow bloggers, she is so talented!

What do you think?! I LOVE it :D (The old header will still be in the Shop though)

I've been getting a lot of comments lately asking if I'm a personal shopper.  Some of my family members even say I should be one.  Do you think this is a sign that I should become a personal shopper?

I've always thought it would be a fun job since I love shopping and helping people find what works for them.  But I think it would be really hard to do it as a career, even if I do just do it rarely.  Do you know anyone who is a personal shopper?  Have any tips if I ever decide to do it?

In my quick search I did find a few websites with tips and one site even has courses to help you become a personal shopper; Sterling Style Academy.  They are expensive though, so I wouldn't be able to afford the courses.  I'll have to do some more searching and see if there are other places to learn the business side of it.

Since we're talking about personal shopping I decided to do a Dress for Less in this post as well so its not just me ranting.  I'm featuring clothes from Rare Fashion, an online store in the UK that I discovered a few weeks ago.  I haven't purchased anything yet, since I'm broke, but they have some great items if you search around!
Top - Rare Fashion £20 / ~$30.53
Shorts  - Rare Fashion £10 / ~$15.27
Shoes - ASOS $18.19 if you use the code ASOSTREATS ($20.21 without code)
Bag - ASOS   $18.19 if you use the code ASOSTREATS ($20.21 without code)
Headband - ASOS $3.03 if you use the code ASOSTREATS ($3.37 without code)
TOTAL: $85.21 ($89.59 without ASOS code)
As you can see, the blog has gotten a bit of a tuneup! I think it looks a lot better, what do you think?

If you check the sidebar you will see that I added a link to the new Closet Fashionista Shop!  You can head over to the shop by going to: http://shop-aclosetfashionista.blogspot.com/  Some of the selection:
I will probably add new stuff soon, for now there are a few skirts, dresses and a pair of boots!

Also in the sidebar I added a counter to see how many days I can go without shopping since I can't spend money.  So let's see how many days I can go without spending money on anything buy gas ;)

And now it is time to get ready to go to the beach with my bffs!
