The weather certainly took a turn this week. I know everyone has been talking about it, but it has been FREEZING here.  It actually hurt when I was walking to and from work...maybe I should start taking the Subway (...nah)  Moving on, I wore some new pieces this week, the most exciting being my Burberry Prorsum dress!  I'll have a full outfit post with it next week where you'll get to hear the story on how I bought it. ;)

Unfortunately I didn't get to wear the outfit I posted yesterday yet because I got sick yesterday.  I think it's from all this weather changing business.  That outfit will have to wait until next week now.  Hopefully I feel better soon so my whole weekend isn't wasted on the couch sleeping.

In other news, the Countdown to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week begins!! If only I were invited, but there's still time, right? ;)

This was a wild week.  Monday and Tuesday were normal; Wednesday was where it got weird.  I got up at 5:40 and got dressed as usual. Then I had my 4 mini donuts for breakfast and checked blogs before grabbing my keys to turn on my car at 6:20 to warm it up. BUT, upon opening the door, I saw that there was tons of snow everywhere and the streets weren't plowed. *face palm*  I had to text my boss to let her know I would need to work from home and then went back to bed for 2 hours. So that outfit will be worn next week.

Yesterday was back to business as usual and I went into the office. After work I stopped at home to get my huge pile of mail which included magazines, a gift from Style House PR AND my package from eBay!!! If you follow me on Instagram you know what it is, if not you shall have to wait to find out!

Tonight I will be going on a blogger date with Lydia and Christine! YAY! And to top it off, this is a three day weekend for me because of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday! DOUBLE YAY :)

Happy Friday everyone!!!  This week was unseasonably warm, I didn't even wear a coat yesterday...madness!  Yesterday I went out with a bunch of people from work to see one of our co-workers sing - she was so good!  Beforehand I went to get a mani/pedi with two other girls, my second one in ten days, I need to stop before I get used to it!  I didn't get home until 1:15 so it's a good thing I didn't have to wake up at 5:40 this morning, ha ha.

Hopefully I will have a nice relaxing weekend and do absolutely nothing.  But I think I need to get a haircut, mine is getting a teeny bit too long...I just have no idea what to do with it anymore.

Welcome to the first This Week in Fashion post of 2013! It's a quick one today because I only went into the office Wednesday and Thursday (I work from home on Friday's now.)  I had a different outfit planned for Thursday, but it has been FREEZING (outside and in the office) so I decided to wait until next week when it will be warmer.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend planned. I'm not sure what I will be doing yet, probably being a couch potato at home.  I've been catching up on my movie watching the past couple of weeks, I'm up to 1,052 seen in my lifetime (that I can remember). AND, the 5th season of my favorite show, Merlin, premieres on SyFy tonight! I already watched the season while it was airing in the UK, but I'm going to watch again because that's how amazing it is. If you haven't seen the show I advise you to netflix/amazon instant video/whatever the series, it is AMAZING. This is the final season, which is a bit depressing, but it was a good 5 years.
