Last vacation post! I only took photos with my phone on this trip so I wouldn't have to carry around my larger camera, so here are a few snaps from our 5 days in Florida!

We had our first real accumulation of snow last week, apart from the snow at the Christmas Tree farm in November and a few flurries, so I had to take some pictures before shoveling it off the driveway. (That's a lie, my cousin did it, ha ha) I decided to wear my Weasley sweater from Universal Studios and pretend I was at Hogwarts with Harry and the gang! I also double layered, leggings under my jeans and a turtleneck under the sweater. Plus some knee high socks bunched up over my jeans. Nice and toasty!

Ever since I read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (way back in 1999) I wanted a Weasley sweater so I could match Harry, Ron, Fred and George! Back in 2008, Entertainment Weekly named the sweater number 7 on their list of 20 Great Pop Culture Sweaters. I learned to knit so I could make my own house scarves, but sadly sweaters were a little out of my league. But last year Warner Bros. finally started selling replicas of the famed sweaters to satisfy my 15 year wish. You can buy Ron or Harry at their theme parks or the London Studio Tour! For this first outfit I went basic with jeans, but I might try to make it more stylish with a leather skirt or something soon.

I bought this on my last trip to Universal at the end of July. I had wanted to buy it when I visited in January and June but they weren't selling them until the Diagon Alley expansion opened. I've been there more this year than I've been to Florida in my entire life. I've only been 4 times, 3 have been this year.  And I will hopefully be going back next January if I'm invited to their second "Celebration of Harry Potter." (which I should be...) Harry Potter sure gets me to go places!

Since it was gross outside, I thought it only fitting to take the pictures in front of part of my Harry Potter collection. Sadly most of it is in boxes at my parents house because I don't have enough room for it all, but these are my favorite/most recent acquisitions. I've been collecting for over 10 years so I've amassed quite the collection. I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but pieces from my collection are featured in a book - Harry Potter Collector's Handbook.

Good morning, everyone! Feast your eyes on these photos of Diagon Alley! The park officially opened yesterday, so today is a perfect day to share these photos! Luckily for me, when I went there were only a few hundred of us inside at any given time. Much more convenient for photo taking and walking around. I do not want to be there today, must be swamped with people!

You'll see a photo below with a red-haired gent, and that is Domhnall Gleeson (Brendan Gleeson's son) who played Bill Weasley in the last few Potter films. But remember his face, he is going to be famous after his stint in the new Star Wars films! He was also in About Time with Rachel McAdams if you saw that (I still have not...shame on me!)
