Here are some better photos of what I wore to my work Holiday Party last Thursday.  We had a pre-celebration at the office and then I hung out with a co-worker at her apartment while we waited for another friend.  Then we headed to the party, which was held at The Rosewood.  Unfortunately I didn't last long in there, it was far too crowded and my social anxiety took over (not fun,) so I headed out earlier than expected.  I still had a great night though! :D

Last weekend, when I told my roommate and friends that I was planning on wearing these two pieces as a suit, one of my friends (you know who you are!!) said I was going to look like a Grandma and "Why would you wear them together?!"  I quite enjoy this outfit and I think it's perfect for the holidays, it was a hit at the office too. How about you, my dear readers?

[P.S. The Man Repeller suggests a suit too! I guess great minds think alike ;)]

Good morning everyone, this is quite the rare occurrence: my This Week in Fashion post is going up LATE!  Why, do you ask? Because last night was my works Holiday party and I didn't get home until 3am...AHH!  But other than that this was a normal week; wake up, train, work, train, dinner, sleep.

Can you believe there's only one work week left until Christmas!!! Time is just flying by, crazy stuff! Today my mission is to wrap all my presents (and clean my house since during the week I have no time to clean.) Then tomorrow I'm going out to eat and to see The Hobbit with my roommate, YES (we are Lord of the Rings freaks)!!!

Today let's talk about one of the biggest mall chains in the world, Westfield! They have malls everywhere, from Australia and New Zealand to London and of course in the US (which are the ones I frequent).   More specifically let's talk about one of my favorite things to shop for: shoes!  Westfield has an amazing selection of womens boots, high heels and wedges shoes!  In Australia they carry a wide variety of brands such as adidas, UGG, Billabong, drmartens, Merrell, Guess, NIKE, TOMS and even Dolce & Gabbana!

I had so much fun checking out all the shoes, below are some of my favorite finds, there are plenty more where these came from!  Make sure to check out all the womens shoes at Westfield! What do you think?

This was quite a busy weekend, which was a nice change from being alone all last week! Saturday I went out with Lydia and Amber (photos tomorrow!) and yesterday I went to my Grandmother's for our weekly Sunday dinner.  It was a little chilly on Sunday so I threw on my Ralph Lauren sweater to keep warm.  I do love how sparkly this Valentino tank top is, though you can't see it all too well in the photos.

Top: Valentino (Roundabout) $45, Sweater: LAUREN Ralph Lauren (GoodWill) $9 Skirt: Mudd old, Sandals: Sonoma Life & Style (Kohl's) old, Bracelets c/o 31 Bits, Sunglasses: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop) gift card, Watch: Michael Kors, Bag: LAUREN Ralph Lauren gift
Yesterday I went to Westport for an appointment and stopped by Roundabout's Westport location on the Post Road because an ex-coworker had told me about it. They carry so many designers, from Chanel to Hermes, Lanvin, Phillip Lim and so much more! It was like walking into a candy store! They had a gorgeous Chanel jacket for $500, but sadly it was a size 14...  There was also a sale going on: 65% off clothes, 75% off shoes and 505 off bags & accessories. (except Chanel, Hermes, Valentino and something else)

I was looking at all the shoes and none caught my eye until I saw these gorgeous turquoise Lanvin pumps! They were a 37.5 and I'm usually a 38 or 38.5 but I tried them anyway and they fit! WAHOO! They were originally $960, the store was selling them for $329 and after the discount that was $82.85! How could I resist?  These babies are adding a nice pop of color to my shoe closet.

Next up is a cute Valentino tank! They were selling it for $129, but it was 65% off so I paid $45 (still a lot, but it was cute and I needed to blow some money to make myself feel better, ha ha)

Yesterday I decided to play dress up and style a few pieces that don't get much wear.  I didn't actually wear this in public but I wanted to experiment. I'm going to try to play with my clothes more often now that I don't go into an office.  First, The Valentino jacket I got for $2 in The Outnet birthday sale last year. I've only worn it a handful of times because it's a little big. Next up is a REALLY old skirt from Aeropostale that I got to wear on Easter when I was in 8th or 9th grade. I haven't worn it in years, and now that I finally did I think I need to retire it. It's a teeeeeeny bit too short.

Lastly, my awesome Alexander Wang Freja booties, these aren't exactly misfits, but I haven't worn them in a few months.  I wore these a lot through Fall and Winter but now that we're into Spring and Summer I'm finding it hard to style them. I'm going to try my hardest to wear them at least a couple times over the next few months before they come back into full swing in Fall. (except one is a little tight because one foot is bigger than the other! GRRR! They fit fine with tights though.)

Jacket: Valentino (The Outnet Birthday Sale) $2, Skirt: Aeropostale old, Booties: Alexander Wang (The Outnet) birthday gift, Sunglasses: Michael Kors (Marshalls) $20, Watch: Michael Kors, Harry Potter iPhone Case c/o Zazzle
