I wasn't in the mood to take outfit pictures in the heat when I wore this outfit so we decided to do an indoor shoot with my collection wall! These two shelving units are from my grandparents house. My grandfather made them YEARS ago (we're talking way before I was born) and offered them to us when we moved. There were 3 separate pieces but we weren't sure if we'd need or be able to fit all three and just took 2. They weren't painted so rather than having dark brown wood shelves we painted them white so whatever we put on them would pop.

90% of the items on the shelves are mine, thanks to my understanding fiancé. He let me have them to show off my collectibles and he gets to turn the finished basement into a video game/man cave area. Luckily he loves Harry Potter too (and likes Disney) so he doesn't mind having that be the focal point of the living room. Most of my Harry Potter items (left shelving unit) are pretty rare. This is only a small selection of my collection, I have at least 5 rubbermaids full of more stuff. This is just the best of the best.

The other unit is a mixture of Disney and other items. You'll see some Game of Thrones, The Princess Bride, Lord of the Rings, a nod to Gilmore Girls and some of fiancés books. I also have some of my gemstones mixed in here and there. They used to be displayed all in one place but I decided to spread them throughout the house. I don't have as much rare Disney memorabilia but I hope to change that eventually, it's just hard to know where to start! I do have more that's not on display since it's in boxes, so we'll see what comes and goes from the shelves as we organize.

Tee: Vince (The Outnet), Floral Shorts: Zara, Suede Mules: Franco Sarto 'Dolly (DSW)

This outfit is full of sale finds! The tee was $20 from The Outnet's clearance sale a couple years ago and it retailed for $135...sheesh! The rainforest print Carven skirt is from the Net-a-Porter sale quite a few years ago and the Lanvin studded suede sandals are also from the Net-a-Porter sale! I've made my single purchase for this year's sale but you won't see what it is for a few months. *wink wink*

I wore this to hang out with Lydia for a bit on Saturday afternoon. We headed to lunch at Joey C's Boathouse and then came to this fun "sea wall" for our outfit photos. This is the first time in a while  that we have taken photos together. The past few times we've gotten together we haven't been in the mood to take out the tripod for double shots. Luckily this time we had my lovely photographer/fiance to do all the work.

Tee: Vince (The Outnet), Skirt: Carven (Net-a-Porter Sale), Studded Suede Sandals: Lanvin (Net-a-Porter Sale), Bag c/o Orox Leather 'Merces Saddle,' Sunglasses: Gucci

I was going to post this last week but the rainy weather left me with only 2 outfit posts and I didn't want to only have 2 posts during the week so I decided to take the whole week off to get ahead for this week! I wore this on a dreary day a couple weeks ago for my daily walk in the park. I haven't worn this jacket in a while because it's so loud and crazy, but it was perfect for brightening up a dull day. (Despite the clouds I was very squinty because the sun was trying to peek out, hence still wearing sunglasses, haha!)

Floral Windbreaker: Target, Cashmere Turtleneck: Vince (Marshalls), Jeans: J Brand 'Mid Rise Photo Ready Super Skinny Jean' (Gilt), Sneakers: PUMA c/o Kicks USA, Necklace: House of Harlow 'Sunburst' (from Lydia), Sunglasses: Gucci, Eyeglasses chain: Tinksky (Amazon)

I wore this on a random shopping outing with my parents. We started at Roundabout so my mom could check out their sale, then it was off to Home Goods to look at furniture, then BJs for some groceries. Such an exciting morning, right?!

Cardigan: J.Crew 'Harlow' Star print cardigan, Cashmere Turtleneck: Vince, Jeans: Everlane "The High-Rise Skinny Jean" in Mid-Blue, Flats: Marc by Marc Jacobs mouse flats (Shopbop), Bag: Dark Purple Chloé Faye (eBay), Necklace: Marrin Costello

Day 3 was our big day! We got to Magic Kingdom at 9am and stayed until midnight. The park closed at 6pm for the general public and from 7-12 we enjoyed Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party with less crowds! Our first stop of the day was The Little Mermaid ride followed by breakfast at Be Our Guest. I was able to snag reservations for us there the day before thanks to people cancelling reservations. I had been checking almost every day to see if any popped up.

After breakfast we went from ride to ride until it was time for Mickey's Christmas Party. Before the party we had a much coveted reservation for dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table. I'll share more about that below! Then during the party we watched a couple shows, part of the parade and the Christmas fireworks show! We also made sure to go and get all the free cookies, hot chocolate and pretzels at different locations throughout the park! There were also character photograph spots throughout the park but we decided to focus more on enjoying tasty snacks.

Cardigan: Banana Republic, Mickey Reindeer Sweater: Etsy, Jeans: Mother (Marshalls), Boots: Vince Camuto 'Davilla' (Marshalls), Bag: Disney x Coach 'Patricia' with Mickey ears

And now on to my favorite part of the day! Dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table. As I mentioned last week, reservations are really hard to come by so it was a Christmas miracle! Here's how it works:
  • Show up at your reservation time and check in
  • Head into a room in the castle to get a photo taken with Cinderella
  • Sit down and enjoy your surroundings until your name is called
  • Head upstairs to the beautiful dining room and take your seat
  • Order your dinner - you get a drink, first course, entree and dessert with your meal. I had the Castle Salad, Pan-Seared All Natural Chicken and "The Clock Strikes Twelve"
  • Take photos with various princesses - we had Snow White, Aurora, Jasmine and Ariel
  • Get your magic wand (or sword) and make a wish during the Wish Ceremony
