I did buy some stuff this month. My Mom and I went out shopping on a Sunday because we got bored. We don't normally like to shop on weekends, I will play hooky from work for a few hours and we go during the week, ha ha. Yay freelance!  Anyway, we went to Home Goods and TJ Maxx. 

I made it out of Home Goods safely but TJ Maxx got me with some Mansur Gavriel Dance Mary Jane flats in black ponyhair/calf hair for $115 on sale from $160. They had them in a glass case, they were a 39 (I'm usually 38/38.5) and the store was busy so I didn't ask to try them on. When I got home I looked them up and saw the retail price—$495 or possibly $525 since they were ponyhair—I thought "maybe I should try them just in case." I took a little break from work Monday morning to go awkwardly ask to try them on and they fit like a glove! The employee took them to the front for me so I couldn't swipe them and I continued my shopping, ha ha. I ended up finding a really cute burgundy sweater dress for $17 and grabbed that too. The Mansur Gavriel website still has the non-mary jane style "Dream Ballerina" flat in black ponyhair but the "Dance" seems to be sold out.

We went out again the next week and I found a really cute House of Harlow sweater vest on clearance at Marshalls that I picked up to wear on Thanksgiving.  I also saw a pair of cute Dolce Vita suede sandals on clearance for $24, but really did not need those, ha ha. I wore my new Mansur Gavriel flats on this shopping trip and they were VERY comfy, like slippers!
