*Soma gifted the sandals featured in this post, but all opinions are my own.*

I'm a little (fashionably) late to this trend, but when Soma Footwear asked if I wanted to style a pair of their leather shoes I decided on these pom-pom sandals which have been everywhere this Summer! Better late than never, right? I considered a pair of their ADORABLE printed or beaded ballet flats but in the end I decided to keep Summer fun going a bit longer with the sandals. Each piece, like art, is exclusive and hand embroidered/hand sewed so you know what you're getting is special.

Soma has reinvented the traditional shoe to embody a mix of East and West fashion style identities, with special attention given to comfort and quality. They source high quality leather and have superior stitching by craftsmen who have been in this field for generations. Soma has pioneered the art of incorporating traditionally worn footwear into mainstream contemporary fashions with their vibrant colors, elegant curves, impeccable finish, and commitment to quality.

When these arrived one of the tassels on the ties had fallen off, luckily I was able to just snap it back on. I've found that they're prone to popping off, so you may want to reinforce with a dab of glue.  I might sew mine on to really prevent them from slipping. I'm also horrible at tying things, so forgive the poorly done knots, haha! I'll get better eventually!

*Thanks to DITTO Endless Eyewear for partnering with me!*

Love designer sunglasses but too fickle to pick just one pair? Have no fear! Endless Eyewear from Ditto is here! I've been a fan of Ditto for a couple years but had yet to try out their subscription program. One of my favorite things is their DITTO Tool. You take a video of your face turning from side to side so you can try on any of their sunglasses on your face! So cool.

I've been wanting to try their Endless Eyewear program for a while so when they contacted me about testing it out for a few months my answer was easy! The program is super simple: pick a pair of sunglasses, wear them as long as you want then swap for a new pair! Shipping is free and you have unlimited swaps. Don't worry if you get a tiny scratch, your subscription includes insurance if there are any mishaps.

At $24 per month for sunglasses and $34 for prescriptions how can you go wrong? If you like the pair you're currently testing out you can purchase for 15% off. Sign up for Endless Eyewear with code CLOSETFASHIONENDLESSDITTO to get your first month FREE!

Normally I go for classic styles but since there was no pressure to keep them I decided to try out a "wacky" pair by Miu Miu for my first pick! I might try these fun Selima Optique's next, or maybe this Ray-Ban pair.

And Lydia and I coordinated by accident so we had to take a photo together:
If you read my wardrobe update post last week you'll already know most of the story on these pants. I have wanted them since September 2014 when I saw Emma Stone wear them at an event. I found them on Net-a-Porter soon after that and they were a bit too pricey ($1500+) so I resigned to the fact that I would never own them.  Earlier this year they were $578 at The Outnet, still too expensive. But then, one fateful day, I checked Yoox and found 3 different versions of the pants and they were an extra 15% thanks to a coupon code I had! So I splurged and paid $247 to add these beauties to my closet.

I was going to wear them right away, but then a company asked if I wanted to review one of their crop tops. Since it was black I decided to wait and wear the pants with that since I had envisioned wearing them with a crop top at some point. The top is a nice sturdy fabric and not too cropped so it was a perfect match for the pants! I also really like the higher neckline as well.

I wore this to go to my oldest friend's bridal shower last weekend. It's crazy to think that I've known her basically my whole life and she's getting married! We don't see each other as much as we used to, but when we do it's like no time has passed.

Here's my second Easter outfit! It was this dress' second birthday over the weekend so it was fitting that I wore it again. Another non-characteristic piece for me, yet it's one of my favorite items of clothing! So glad I kept up my search for it and finally bought it.  It's been worn so many times, even in Paris last April!

This outfit was from the most magical evening of my life!  The Wednesday of our trip there was a red carpet event followed by a "reception" in the new Diagon Alley park at Universal.  I say reception, but it was more like WELCOME, GO HAVE FUN!  Sadly we weren't allowed to take our cameras into the event so all my outfit photos are from iPhones.  We were inside the park from around 9pm until almost 1am and didn't want to leave!

We got to go into Gringotts Bank (and almost rode the new ride, but it was having technical difficulties) and then we rode the Hogwarts Express to Hogsmeade (the other Harry Potter park at Universal) and back again!

Standing in heels for over 7 hours was probably not the best idea, so I took off my shoes right at the end of the night because I could barely walk.  So I get to say I walked on the cobblestone/brick floors of Diagon Alley!  The ground was probably as clean as it will ever be since thousands of people haven't tramped through it.
Last week while browsing through Net-a-Porter's "What's New" section, I came across this gorgeous Valentino purse, which has since sold out.  I decided to bring back an old post; Lust, Love, Less and find similar bags so we could get the look without spending a fortune.

This would also be fun to DIY, if you found a nice tan shoulder bag for a reasonable price you could create your own design with embroidery thread and/or buttons.  I may go that route because I've been wanting to do something crafty for a while (but I'll probably be too lazy).

Valentino Purse: $3195
Ash Handbag: $225
MMS Purse: $19.95

A very close second for the "Love" bag, but the other one had the colors better.
Patrizia Pepe Handbag: $222

Honorable Mentions:

Antik Batik Bag: $133

Anya Hindmarch Handbag: $465

Saldarini Clutch: $75
This jacket has become my official Easter jacket. I feel weird wearing it most of the time, but the light yellow shade makes it perfect for Easter.  This was what I wore for our celebrations on Saturday with my Dad's side of the family.  This Carven dress is already getting lots of use! I am already planning to wear it again for a blogger get together next month, unless the weather doesn't cooperate.
