I have been seeing designer doppelgangers everywhere the past few days! These next 3 were all found at TopShop! Unfortunately the Miu Miu's and Chloé's are no longer available. Fortunately, they could show up on The Outnet in a few months, so keep your eyes peeled!  Which ones do you prefer, designer or doppelganger?
Miu Miu Glitter-finished leather and calf hair pumps - $650
Topshop Jamaica Curve Heel Glitz Shoes- $110
I actually prefer the Topshop ones here, but only because the calf-hair on the Miu Mius is a bit odd. They had them at SAKS in NYC when I met Jamie-Lee over the summer and I almost bought them, but resisted.

Chloé Watersnake and patent-leather pumps - $650
Topshop Spector Contrast Back Platforms - $124
Okay, so the print switched places for these shoes but they have the same feeling and that's all that really matters. There were a few versions of these Chloe's but these brown ones were my favorites.

Yves Saint Laurent Opyum suede pumps - $665
Topshop Gilmore Contrast Toe Points - $120
In this case I prefer the muted color Yves Saint Laurent a lot more than the Topshop, but only because I like muted colors (and the colors are perfection!) But I know a lot of you girls like bright colors so I included these as well!

I am still obsessed with the YSL's but $665 i a bit too much for me to spend...maybe if they go on sale. [Hopefully this doesn't become a repeat of the Miu Miu leopard sandal debacle & I can't stop thinking about them...]
Today I thought I would share with you some of my current lusts.  Many of these pieces are way out of my price range, and some I would never be able to wear, but that doesn't stop me from drooling over them.  I am TOTALLY in love with the black, high-waisted Balmain skirt...it is perfection. What are your current lusts?

It's funny looking at how diverse all of these pieces are. But that's true to my style, I'm a little bit of everything. Girly, edgy, quirky, serious, fun, etc. What I wear really depends on what mood I'm in or what I'm doing, I always love to switch things up.  I hate when people think you have to stick to a certain style, that's not what fashion is about. I think fashion is about playing, taking risks and wearing what you want no matter what other people may think. I may be a super shy person who doesn't talk much, but I feel like when I get dressed it is how I express myself.

I was going to post an outfit today but I didn't have time on Monday and I was too lazy yesterday, ha ha...so I'll have to photograph today's outfit unless something insane happens.

Today I'm posting some more Spring 2012 looks that could also work for fall because of their color palettes. First up is the Rodarte collection. I love how they used Van Gogh paintings as inspiration and the dramatic makeup used. And as you all know I LOVE wearing purple, so that makes me love this collection even more.

Next we have Yves Saint Laurent, once again TONS of purple, YES! There are a lot of separates which is great because you can then mix and match all these great pieces together for many more looks. I'm glad to see the jewel tone trend is going to continue because those are the types of colors that look great on me.

First, don't forget to head over to chictopia mark this outfit as Chic so I can have a chance to win the TeenVOGUE contest!  I also entered another contest so mark this one as Chic too!  Here is my profile page (Hopefully you can see them, if not try again later and maybe they will be there...7 Style Council members have to like them before they show up to everyone)

I was going to choose one Resort 2011 collection as my Daily Inspiration, but I couldn't choose so I chose 3 from each designer but could have easily chosen 10+ from each :p  I'm not much of a fashion writer, but I'm trying to get better at describing how I feel ;)

Chloè - I love the use of nude colors in this collection, it could have easily been boring but the collection is far from it! The mix of basics with pieces that use interesting prints and fabrics is perfect.
Yves Saint Laurent - My favorite part of the YSL collection is their use of fun bright colors!  This collection also showed a lot of skin in some looks without being vulgar.
Jason Wu -Jason is another designer I love because of how classic and versatile his pieces are.  This collection was no different, it had great prints, nudes and anything you could need.
Jean Paul Gaultier - Gaultier is a designer I have an on/off relationship with. This collection I LOVE! It's bold, girly, edgy and I love the colors he used.
Marc Jacobs - I love the colors, prints, textures and shapes of this collection.  Marc always does something unexpected in his collections, which I love. (The 2nd piece is a great example of that with it's fabric choice)
Matthew Williamson - Matthew is one of the other print masters of today and this collection continues in that tradition. He does great things with prints but is also perfectly comfortable working with solids.

I might do another one of these soon since I loved a lot more collections ;)
