Whenever we go camping in Vermont I have to make the 25 minute drive to The Vermont Country store to get some maple syrup, fudge and candy! This time was no different. We also went to The Bryant House for lunch which is right next door. My boyfriend and I each got the malted waffle and a johnnycake (forgot to take a picture of that) and my brother got the Chicken Pot Pie. Everything was delicious!

For our trip to the store I decided to wear a more normal vacation outfit instead of my camping outfits (jean shorts or hiking gear, haha.)

Cardigan: American Eagle, Dress: Zara, Sandals: old, Bag: Fossil (similar), Sunglasses: Ray Ban 'Erika', Eyeglasses chain: Tinksky (Amazon)

And now some photos from the store and restaurant!

A stroll in the park calls for a floral blouse, right? The weather is still undecided so I'm switching between wearing pants and shorts. The joys of Spring, right? When I first bought this shirt I wasn't sure how often I would wear it but I love having it in my closet for those days where I'm feeling more girly than usual.

It's been a while since we've had a throwback outfit. I blame my trip to Florida and the holidays. But here we are with an outfit from over 5 years ago. This blazer was one of my first designer "splurges" on eBay. I think I paid less than $30 for it back in 2010. I added in my Gucci aviators and dark purple ChloƩ Faye to update the look a bit. But everything else is the same.

Tee: Zara, Blazer: Moschino Cheap & Chic (eBay), Jeans: Free People (Gilt Groupe), Heels: Alexander Wang 'Freja' (The Outnet), Scarf: Yarnz c/o NET-A-PORTER, Bag: Dark Purple ChloƩ Faye (eBay), Sunglasses: Gucci

Each fashion week I go through all the collections to choose my favorite outfits* as well as looks I would like to recreate with pieces in my own closet. This look from the Belstaff Fall 2017 collection was pretty easy to recreate, the only piece I had an issue with was the striped top since I only have 3 and they're mostly Summery. But this Zara tee did the trick! Add in some purple accessories and I was good to go!

*I haven't finished going through the September collections yet because life has been a bit hectic...OOPS!

Shearling Jacket: thrifted, Tee: Zara, Jeans: J Brand 811 Photo Ready Mid-Rise Skinny (Gilt), Shoes: Vince 'Maxon' in Fig (DSW), Bag: Dark Purple ChloƩ Faye (eBay)

The inspiration:

I bought these patchwork boots for a STEAL ($12) back in May and was so excited to finally wear them. I thought since they had multiple colors they'd be easy to style but when I went to pair them with pieces I found myself stumped for something stylish. I could have just worn them with a basic sweater, but for their first outing I wanted something more fun. In the end I went with my Zara crop top to bring out all the colors of the boots and finished it off with my soft purple cape.

Cashmere Cape: b chyll - similar (Roundabout), Crop Top: Zara (similar), Jeans: J Brand 'Maria' High Rise in Supreme (Gilt Groupe), Patchwork Boots: Impo 'Omega' (DSW), Bag: Emm Kuo 'Calle Bahia' (Roundabout Resale), Sunglasses: Chanel

My favorite season has finally arrived! We had a bit of an Indian Summer the past week or so and it's been nice to finally need a sweater. Maybe it's the fact that I was born in October but Fall has always been my favorite season. The pretty leaves, the smells, the sweaters...so perfect.

This crop top is one of my favorite Zara buys ever. It's made up of all my favorite colors and is just perfect for Autumn! Rather than wearing it with dark high waisted jeans I decided to go with my lighter wash Everlane jeans and Lanvin studded suede sandals. Keeps it a little more "transitional" in a way.  These sandals seriously go with everything. I love the way they bring out all the different colors in my top. I'm still seriously considering buying a backup pair if I ever find another in my size that isn't too pricey.

Crop Top: Zara, Jeans: Everlane "The High-Rise Skinny Jean" in Mid-Blue, Studded Suede Sandals: Lanvin - also here (NET-A-PORTER), Aviator Sunglasses: Gucci, Eyeglasses chain: Tinksky (Amazon), Bag: Dark Purple ChloƩ Faye (eBay)
