I was recently invited by Vogue to join their Influencer Network, as a Vogue Network Influencer I will be the first to know and share just-launched fashion and beauty collections, industry events and exclusive product samples!  My first product to review has arrived and it is the L'Oréal Paris Youth Code which will be released in January of 2011.  I have very bad under eye circles so I was really looking forward to the eye cream part.  I've tried it out for 5 days now and here is what I think:
As many of you may know I don't really have a beauty routine (I'm way too lazy, so this was a great way to make me start one.  Each morning and night I would cleanse my face, then apply the 'Serum Intense' followed by the Eye Cream and the Day/Night Moisturizer.  Without even going into whether the product worked or not it made my skin feel great, it wasn't oily at all and I felt refreshed after putting it on.  The eye cream has a unique applicator, it has a metal tip so when you squeeze the tube a bit of the product comes onto the tip and you massage it gently around your eyes.

After using it my skin feels nice and smooth and it is starting to look better.  My under eye circles are a bit lighter than usual which is very good!  Its a bit too early to tell if it is really working, but so far my skin is feeling wonderful! I will definitely continue using this product and look forward to seeing more results, so you may see an update post on here soon, after 1 month it is supposed to really make an effect on the skin.

Before and After photos, ignore my nastiness :p  There isn't much of a difference in the photos but my dark circles are definitely lighter now, you just can't tell below because my camera wouldn't cooperate...haha. (I am also in my pjs so :P)

One of my girl crushes is Carey Mulligan, I LOVE the shoot she did for ELLE UKs January 2011 issue, she looks gorgeous.  She is such a good actress, if you haven't seen An Education, see it!  Sadly I haven't seen many of her other movies (except Pride and Prejudice and My Boy Jack) but they are on my list ;) I just wish there were more photos, but I love how simple these are.

This post is for those girls who love soft colors, bows and overall prettiness, your classic girly girl. This week was the debut of my new DKNY cozy that I got for $20 at TJ Maxx! I bought another one and had it on eBay but someone did buy it now this morning!  You can wear it in 12 different ways, I have only been able to do a few but with more practice hopefully I can do the others eventually.

I got sick this week so I felt pretty gross and did NOT want to go to work...haha. And today is our work Christmas party...we're having sushi and alcohol...GROSS! (I hate sushi and I don't drink because it tastes gross...but maybe my co-workers will convince me to drink something ;) They're all at least 10 years older than me...haha, most are like 15-20 years older) It was pretty cold this week too, its not going to be fun when it feels like below 0...

(my camera is having major problems taking clear pictures...dumb thing...but the outside ones came out good...guess I should freeze every morning to take them outside)
