I'm not much of a Givenchy fan, but the Pre-Fall collection has caught my eye.  The pieces and silhouettes are a bit odd, but I love them even if they aren't all that wearable!  The color palette is great, I love the browns, maroons and purples! I don't have enough brown in my closet...*makes mental note to get more brown stuff*  Anyway, here are some of the looks I enjoy, if you want to see all the looks head over to style.com:

Today I'm featuring a great online consignment shop: The Missing Piece.  It is run by Samantha Brown, a technical director for a video company that films the collections at NY fashion week.  Her shop has some great designer items at affordable prices such as Marc Jacobs, Prada, Rebecca Taylor, Ralph Lauren and more!  Some of my favorite items currently in the shop are:
Samantha kindly sent over this pretty Simply Vera top and a gold cuff bracelet by Diamer Jewelry.  This is my first statement bracelet, yay!  Here are some outfit photos I took, ignore my face in the jumping photos...haha...I took about 20 and only a few actually worked, never mind what my face looked like:
Top & Bracelet via The Missing Piece, Jeans: Sass & Bide $30, Jacket: Lauren Ralph Lauren gift, Bag: Mulberry for Target gift [$25], Shoes: Forever 21 $25.80

Samantha has also provided a coupon code for you, my lovely readers, to get 20% off your purchase at The Missing Piece!  Just use code "Fashionista" at checkout for the discount and enjoy!

* Samantha sent me the items I'm wearing free of charge, but this in no way affected my post, these are my own thoughts on the store.

I also did a quick interview interview with Samantha that you can read by clicking Read More.

Well the Golden Globes were on last night, I don't usually do Best and Worst Dressed lists for these events but I figured why not! The photos are a bit small, but I had to do this post before going to bed and these were the ones online at the time :p  I'm going to try not to say too much since there are a lot of pictures/women. (and I'm also missing some because I couldn't find photos...or forgot to find them)

Best: These women look stunning!!  I am not sure who is my favorite of all of these lovely ladies so you can choose for yourselves!! And also add Alexa Chung to this list...I just couldn't find a photo of her ;)
Almost There: I think that Natalie would have looked SOOO much better without that random rose on the dress, totally ruins the prettiness in my opinion. Emma's dress is GORGEOUS but she needs to get rid of that blonde hair, it distracted me from her dress, I miss her red hair! [Update: Yes, I know Emma has blonde hair because of Spiderman, I'm just saying I don't like it]
Worst: Just NO...Halle is definitely the worst of them all, I think, even with all these ugly dresses.  I know some people liked Michelle Williams' dress, but I think its so ugly.
And in a category all her own, Helena Bonham Carter.  She ALWAYS looks wild and crazy so how can you put her in the worst dressed.  Go Helena, never change your crazy dressing ways!
And here are a couple of the stylish men of the night since there are hardly any full body shots of the guys, ha ha. I love how Ryan Gosling wore a velvet suit! (and Jim Parsons because I love him...haha...and YAYY FOR HIM WINNING!)

Yesterday my Mom and I went to Kohl's to use her 30% off coupon and because I had money to spend from a dress I returned from Christmas.  I ended up only getting a necklace for $8 to turn owl earrings I got for Christmas into a necklace. Nothing else looked appealing enough....

Then we decided to run into Target because I wanted to check to she if they had the clogs that Elaine from Clothed Much has because I have been OBSESSED since I saw them.  I wasn't expecting them to have them but they did!!! Of course I had to buy them so I would stop drooling over Elaine's so I got them in the light brown color.

I also found one of the Mulberry for Target bags on clearance: SCORE!  It was regularly $50 and was only $25!  I have waited sooo long for one of these bags, I always walked by them because they were so expensive but I guess I did the right thing because I paid half the regular price.

I wasn't expecting to get anything else but then my mom and I checked out the mens clearance section and the women's clearance section. I got a mens long sleeve shirt (to wear to bed) for $4 and a navajo print sweater for $8.  I'm not sure if I want to keep the sweater though...it fits a bit weird. [UPDATE: Returned the sweater this morning...haha]
I also got the iPad Camera Connection kit for when I go on my vacations so I can take as many pictures as I want and not worry about having enough space for them (that was $30...ick) The best part is, I only spent $15 of my own money for all of my new purchases!! OH YEAAAA :D

P.S. The fun jeans I got at Express were WAY too tight...they must run really small because I'm always the same size in pants (if not a size smaller than what I bought)...so I have to return them.

Decided to do another runway edition of Daily Inspiration, since I already featured Jason Wu, Chanel and Burberry Prorsum here's another collection I really enjoyed (I may show some more in the coming days, I haven't decided yet).  Anyway, I like Matthew Williamson's Pre-Fall collection; the color pallet is great and the clothes are very wearable. I LOVE the turquoise pants.  Here are some of my favorite looks (click to make larger)
