I went shopping yesterday with a nice list of what I wanted to find and I walked out with NONE of it...the only thing I got was a pair of leopard flats at H&M for $13 that will replace my old pair...don't you hate when you can't find anything? GRRR!!
I tried on a bunch of really cute dresses at H&M but I couldn't bring myself to spend $35 on them, and there was one that was $20 but the shoulders didn't fit right (I was thinking of having my mom take them off, but I'm not sure if she'd be able to)...and THEN there was a bodycon tiger dress for $18 but I wouldn't have worn it that much...But I did take some photos to show you guys...do you think I should have gotten 1, 2, 3 or all of them? XD  (I may be going back to the same mall next weekend so I could pick some up if I change my mind...)

The first 2 are $34.95, the second is the $19.99 one that fits weird (but I still love it...) and the last is $17.95.  The quality of the photos isn't that great...but you can still see most of what is going on, except for the black one...it's a black version of the green dress I almost bought a long time ago but didn't (and regretted...)
Before I get to Chanel, check out the new blog design I did for The Fashion 411!

So the Chanel Riva nail polish I ordered arrived on Thursday and I finally had the chance to test it out yesterday!  So here we go, my first experience with Chanel nail polish! WOOT!  Before I get to that I must say I LOVE their packaging! The box is such great quality and the tissue paper even has the Chanel logo on it, that must be why things cost so much there, the packaging ;) I kid, but it definitely makes it worth the price when they make such an effort to package things nicely. (is it weird that I'm keeping it all? I even flattened and folded up the tissue paper)

I may not be that into accessories (since I never want to buy them) but I LOVE nail polish. I cannot go more than one day without it or my hands feel naked. I need to expand my collection so I don't steal my moms as much. So...here we go with the review. This is my first time using Chanel nail polish so I can't compare it to the other Chanel ones, but I can compare it to my usual polishes (Rimmel London, Sally Hansen, Revlon, etc.)
I did three coats since this is a pretty light color. The first coat went on really light and was  bit stripey, but most nail polishes I use are like that anyway. Then after the next two coats it was perfection. *added* Emily reminded me that I wanted to say the brush is a little bit thin, that could be part of the problem with why it goes on stripey at first...*added* It is perfect for the Spring and Summer and to add a little brightness to this icky winter we're having.  (ignore how dry my hands are...haha...and I was a little messy, but whatever, it comes off)
Now hopefully this lasts me the whole week like my other nail polishes do, I rarely have time to repaint them during the week... :)  Overall this was a good first experience with Chanel nail polish. I'd love to try other colors but I'll wait a while before I buy my next one since they're so pricey.
I love the Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2011 collection. The color palette, prints, fabrics...everything! It is almost all wearable and looks really comfortable. I also enjoy how the looks are numbered so I can tell you all that my favorites are: 21, 11, 15, 1 and 8.

This week I only went into work for 3 days. I worked from home on Tuesday and Wednesday because of nasty weather...but I got dressed on Tuesday morning before deciding to stay home so you get to see that outfit anyway. And I also included my shopping outfit from last Saturday. So that's still 5 outfits, ha ha. Thanks to my little brother for offering to take the photo when it was snowing so I didn't have to put my camera down, ha ha. Sorry about the blurry photo for Monday, but it was the only good one that showed the right color of my pants ;) I linked to the items that are available to buy right now if you're interested in any of it ;)

Today (Friday) I might be meeting my 2 best friends for lunch, but I may not depending where they are going since I'll have to leave work to get there and if its far that will waste time :p This weekend should be pretty relaxing. I was supposed to be going shopping on Sunday with the friend that bailed last weekend, but I was mean and canceled on her this time to go with a friend who I know won't bail. Then I'm going to my Grandma's on Sunday and watching the Super Bowl...I just watch for the commercials, haha.  But Saturday I am sitting around doing nothing all day, YAY! How about you girls? Last week I got an email from Net-A-Porter telling me about their Valentine's Day shop, but I figured I would wait until it was actually February to post about it. I am not much of a Valentine's Day fan since I've never had a Valentine :( but I do love me some red and pink clothes/accessories!!  So here are some cute items from that section so you can give your significant other some hints; or if you, like me, won't have a Valentine you can get it for yourself!  Click the images to learn more and to buy!

Since last weekend was the last one in January I decided to be bad & blow the rest of my budget instead of being a good girl. Saturday I went to DSW and Marshalls with my Mom and sister. I must have had Tahari on the brain [you'll see why]. On Sunday I was supposed to go shopping with my friend, but that didn't happen so I did something else... You can click all the photos to see everything larger :D
Saturday: We stopped at Marhsalls first & I found this awesome leopard print Tahari sweater for only $20, normally $178!  It's a little big since its a large & I'm usually a S/M, but I figure I'll mostly wear it unbuttoned or belted.  AND I can wear it as a dress too, a short dress...but a dress ;)
They happened to have 2 so I picked up both & am selling the other on eBay, so if one of you lovely ladies would like it you can bid/buy it now HERE! :D Here's the deal: if there are no bids & you want to make an offer (at least $20 + $5 for US shipping/$15 international), I'll take it off eBay so you don't have to worry about bidding...the perks of being a follower ;) To make an offer email me at aclosetfashionista-blog[at]yahoo[dot]com.
*It starts at $29.99 so I at least make the $20 I spent after all the stupid fees, the buy it now price is $59.99 so I'll make $40 so its like getting the one I bought for myself free ;)

Then we went to DSW and there were lots of cute shoes on sale.  I found these Tahari 'Travis' Oxfords for $79.94 & they were 70% off so I paid $24. I'm guessing they are normally around $110 since that's what DSW says... I'm not sure if I want to keep them though...what do you all think?!

On Sunday I did some more damage. I was supposed to go shopping with a friend, but as usual the plans fell through. I get very annoyed when people don't plan things properly.  She texted me on Sunday morning to let me know that she couldn't go anymore... *rolls eyes* but that's better than on Sunday afternoon like I thought she would.  So I decided to treat myself to a Chanel nail polish...I got the Limited Edition Riva shade, it was $2 more than the normal ones at $27 but whatever...I also got free shipping and 2 free samples [Chanel N°5 Eau Premiere and Inimitable Mascara (Noir Obscur)], yay!!! This was a big splurge for me, it took me like 5 hours to press the checkout button...I'm so crazy.

So all in all i spent $71 this weekend. (I'm not counting the $20 on the second Tahari sweater since I should break even selling it or I'll return it, haha)
When I was doing my usual search of ASOS while being bored I found this gorgeous dress and decided to do a Dress for Less with it!  Since this is an evening look, it is more expensive than the usual outfits I do in this feature (well...with the exception of that last one...ha ha)
Dress: ASOS $70.68
Jacket: ASOS $39.65
Necklace: ASOS $7.76
Ring: ASOS $7.76
Shoes: ASOS $25.86
TOTAL: $151.71
