I decided I would start blogging when I find pieces that I want to add to my wardrobe as part of my new style philosophy. As I said mostly I wear dresses, jeans and blazers. So having a variety of those would be good. I do go a bit wild with my shoes and don't even have a pair of basic black pumps. But today I decided to showcase an accessory that is really lacking in my wardrobe: a watch.
I have one other watch that I got from The Outnet after my shoot but it is brown and teal, not exactly basic. I decided on the Rose Gold Michael Kors watch (or maybe the Marc Jacobs version). Since it isn't silver or normal gold it will go with ANYTHING so it will last forever. There are 2 versions of the watch and I chose the slightly smaller one (by .5cm, ha ha.)
I won't be getting it for a while, but it is on my list of needed items, so it's only a matter of time. It will take me a while to get used to the idea of spending $250 on a watch but I need to remind myself that I will wear it every day and it will last a long time. It definitely meets the requirements of my $1 per wear rule.
For those of you that don't know, the rule is: price of item÷ by number of times worn= true cost ;) Even the DKNY PR Girl uses this system, check out our tweets discussing it below.

Hi, I'm looking for a dress for less for my wedding/honeymoon going away outfit. I need a cute ensamble for leaving the wedding hotel/driving to london/plane ride/arrival in Orlando for my honeymoon!Since she will be traveling a lot it needed to be very comfortable and also able to keep her warm on the plane but then very cool once she arrives in the heat of Florida. This was a lovely challenge, and hopefully I succeeded!
It needs to be comfortable but I also need to make a bit of an effort for my new hubby! I'll need something to keep me warm if the UK weather takes a turn but also adaptable to the florida sunshine when I arrive!
I am looking to spend about £50 and willing to shop online or uk stores. No colours are out and was thinking some kind of a dress as a starting point!

As I posted last week, Net-a-Porter is having their end of season sale. So of course I had to peruse the site and dream about what I wanted. Here are some of my favorite pieces from the sale that I would love to get but, fortunately for my wallet, most are sold out in my size. What are some of your favorite pieces?
[sorry there are so many, I couldn't help it, ha ha]

Here is the editorial I mentioned a couple days ago, I selected my favorite shots, all of them may be seen at the source. It is called "The Darlings" which fits their outfits very well (duh...). I love the mixing of prints and textures and all of the dark hues, this is very different from usual summer issues, that may be why I like it so much.
It has finally gotten warm enough that I don't even need a sweater/jacket anymore...but since I work in an office with air conditioning I still need to bring one every day. I had a different look planned for today, but it got a bit colder so I'm saving the outfit for next week. This was a short week at work, don't you just love when you have a 3 day weekend?

While flipping through the June 2011 issue of ELLE magazine I fell in love with these two photos of Lily Adridge. She looks so amazing and I want to rip those clothes off her and wear them myself.
The purple look is all Givenchy. The second is an Alexander McQueen jacket and Rag & Bone skirt.

There was another editorial in this issue that I really loved so I may post that too if I can find it! (I'm too lazy to scan it XD)
