Now we are on to the Harry Potter premieres! First up is the London premiere which took place on Thursday July 7th. Normally during Potter premieres in London it rains, luckily for this premiere it rained for a little bit before the premiere started and stopped in time for the stars to arrive and we had lovely weather! I'm not going to post ALL of my photos here, but you can see the rest over at my Harry Potter site: Magical-Menagerie. Before the premiere I had the chance to see the movie in 3D and I pretty much cried the whole time ;) (I'll write a bit more about the movie tomorrow, but no spoilers, just my thoughts)
P.S. Today Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the book, is 4 years old!!! AHHH!!! I still remember the day I got and read my copy... *sigh* Oh memories.
UPDATE: For those who are asking, I was on the press line because of my Harry Potter fan site: magical-menagerie.com. WB invites a select group of fan sites to cover events and premieres. There were about 10 of us, I think, in London...about the same for NYC.
The highlight of the premiere, for me, was Matthew Lewis (Neville) finding me in the press section and running over to me for a hug before I interviewed him! I run his only fan site and he is very appreciative. [you can see the hug in the video below]
So here we go with tons of photos...in order you will see David Heyman (Producer), Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort), Natalia Tena (Tonks), Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix), child actors (won't say who so as not to spoil you), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), Afshan Azad (Padma Patil), Clemence Poesy (Fleur Delacour-Weasley), Julie Walters (Molly Weasley), Michael Gambon (Dumbledore), Alfie Enoch (Dean Thomas) & Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan), Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), Jim Broadbent (Slughorn), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Helen McCrory (Narscissa Malfoy), James and Oliver Phelps (Fred & George Weasley), and JK Rowling

Wednesday we did a full day tour of London. But I had seen a lot of it already and was pretty lazy so I didn't take many photos. But some of the other girls took a lot so I stole some ;) So today's post is quite quick. But don't worry...tomorrow is going to be HUGE. It's the London Potter premiere post and you know I have tons of photos from that ;)
Day 4 of vacation was spent in Paris!! The first thing we did after getting off the train was stop at a sidewalk cafe right outside Notre Dame. I had eggs and bacon (the bacon was more like ham...eww), and we also each got a croissant and had some fruit.
After that we explored Notre Dame for a long while, then went into a few shops down the street before going to the back of Notre Dame to rest our feet for a bit.
THEN we walked to the Lourve, the actual museum was closed but we hung out outside by the pyramids for a while and slipped our feet in the pools. We also got some tasty ice cream, I got chocolate..mmm!
Next it was off to the Eiffel Tower, and on the way we found a Harry Potter poster!! Woo!! Also, we found French Harry Potter books at one of the street vendor things, I got 2, ha ha. :)
Then we headed off to another cafe and got dinner. We also each tried a snail...EEEEW! :p They actually weren't all that bad, but I don't think I'll eat one again.
Finally we headed to find a Chanel store and Laduree. Sadly the Chanel was closed by the time we got there but we did manage to find a Laduree and got some tasty macarons!! I got all chocolate, ha ha...mmm....
