Last month I was sent a couple lookbooks from We Are Handsome. I have always been a fan of this brand because it is so cool and unique! I love how they use photographs as their prints and aren't afraid to be bold. I would kill to own one of the one piece swimsuits. The following are my favorite prints and pieces from the current lookbooks; Vintage and Memoirs. Which are your favorites? Mine are the wolf, owl, bear and 'the garden.'

Here's a quick non-fashion post for today. I wasn't going to post anything today but I figured, why not?! Anywayyyy...last night I decided to try out a new recipe for dinner, Grilled Apple Chicken! Here are some fun pictures I took while making it:
I also made Roasted Garlic and Olive Oil couscous by Near East (aka it's a box mix).
Here is the finished product! I had a Gala apple with my meal, ha ha.
And here is the aftermath....UGH! It took FOREVER to clean the grill and it was disgusting and still dirty, though not this bad...I need to try again later...

Okay, so this was a bad month, I went shopping in NYC on the 3rd with Jamie-Lee and I gave myself a set amount I could spend without feeling guilty but, of course, I couldn't find anything. So I decided to let myself be bad the Sunday and Monday after instead and bought a few things that I'm not counting in my spending:
I was also VERY bad and bought stuff from the Missoni for Target collection, but how can you pass up Missoni for under $60?! But sadly everything I bought was too big for me so I had to return it all except for a pair of flats for $30.
I have been doing this spending challenge for a full year now and I think it is time for me to stop doing my monthly recaps. [unless you guys still want me to] I think I have learned to curb my spending and only buy what will go to good use so I am also lifting the unspoken no shopping rule, but I will continue to watch what I buy and be careful with my spending.
- Free People Jeans ($30) [seen in this post]
- Purple Express Top ($34)
- Colorblock Express Top ($34) [seen in this post]
- Michael Kors Tank ($26)
- Blazer from the desert fox's blog shop ($20) [seen in this post]

This week was very weird weather-wise. We went back to very hot weather and then had a lot of nasty muggyness and rain! NOT FUN! So this week my outfits are sorta boring and I was also bad and repeated an outfit on Thursday, ha ha. Though I do quite enjoy my Wednesday outfit, not sure why though...its pretty basic. But then again I do love basic. But hopefully next week we get back to nice Fall weather so I can break out all my stuff that's been unworn for months.
October starts tomorrow! WOOHOO! It's one of my favorite months for a couple reasons. 1. Fall really starts! (my favorite season) 2. Halloween candy and going to the pumpkin patch (hopefully I go and get some fun outfit photos in the process) and 3. My 23rd birthday on the 11th!!!! (I don't really make a big deal of it though, I'll probably be sitting at home watching movies...)

It's been a while (aka a week) since I wore this outfit but I had to post these pictures! I must have been feeling very monochromatic last week because I wore this and my Burgundy/Pink look. I wore one of my favorite dresses that I got almost one year ago from my mom for my birthday. It is McQ by Alexander McQueen and we got it at Century 21 for far less than the retail price! I looked it up when I first bought it and found it that it was from one of Lee's last collections before his tragic death so that makes it all the more special [it is Autumn 2009]. I quite enjoy these photos, especially that jumping one, it came out so good! The neighbors weren't home so I didn't feel self conscious, ha ha, so you get some crazy pictures too.

Today I am featuring a very unique company called eShakti. eShakti is a unique women’s apparel store online that allows custom changes in the style of the garment – sleeve, neckline, length can all be changed by the customer to her preference. They also offer the full size selection from size 0-26W and custom size too. Shakti means power in Sanskrit. eShakti therefore means the power of the Net. We believe the internet empowers customers and helps companies be customer-centered.
A couple weeks ago eShakti emailed to ask me if I would like to try out one of their products. I was able to customize a piece of clothing so I chose the Bow Tied Crepe Blouse in black. Upon ordering I had to select my bra size and height so that my shirt could be customized to my size. I also got to choose how long I wanted my shirt and sleeves to be. I decided I wanted long sleeves and low hip length so I could tuck it in and have a looser fit. I took 2 photos un-tucked and then one how I would actually wear it.
The shirt came about a week after I ordered which is very quick considering it is custom. This shirt fits so great and I love the bow in front, I just wish I could tie it better, anyone have tips? My only problem with this product was the fabric on this particular piece, it is 100% polyester so it does look a bit cheap up close and it wrinkles easily. But I'm sure if you got one of the cotton pieces you would be fine; layering a blazer over the top will help immensely.
*I received this shirt free for the purpose of reviewing the ordering process and quality of the product; this in no way affected my review.

For this Dress for Less I'm featuring a wonderful Simon G necklace from Kranich's Jewelry. It is a gorgeous pendant set in 18 karat white gold and features .64 carat total weight diamonds. Kranich's carries a ton of gorgeous jewelry in all different price ranges so there is something for everyone!
This look is under $150 (minus the necklace) rather than under $100 because I fell in love with those ASOS shoes ;) This look probably needs a jacket for the current weather, but we'll pretend we're still suffering through the heat of summer.
Simon G Pendant

Heels: ASOS $71.35

As you guys saw in Friday's post, I wore this on Wednesday! This outfit was inspired by Anh of 9to5Chic and the last look in this post. I changed it up a bit by making it monochromatic (minus my purse). As I said on Friday these pants are SO old, we're talking Freshman year of High School (which was almost 9 years ago...) I am still amazed that they fit me so well, they must have been super long because I have grown at least a few inches since then.
Speaking of growing, a lot of you guys said I look really tall in my photos but the truth is...I am only 5'2"! That is the power of high heels, the perfect pants and good photo cropping. When I met Jamie she was so surprised by my height, I found it quite amusing.
Pants: Bongo $?, Tank: Ellen Tracy (TJ Maxx) $12, Blazer: Jones New York $40, Pumps: Marc by Marc Jacobs via net-a-porter gift card, Watch: Michael Kors, Purse: Marc by Marc Jacobs

So this was my first week of doing an actual outfit post, but I am still going to continue doing This Week in Fashion because I'm not going to do an outfit post for every day. I took some more photos of my Wednesday outfit that I'm going to post on Sunday. I would have posted them yesterday but I had my photos from the weekend that I wanted to post. ;) I also took some really fun pictures of yesterday's outfit, not sure when I'll get those posted though because I have a bunch of fun stuff to post next week.
The weather this week was awesome (except for the bit of rain we got), it wasn't hot but it wasn't too cold. I love Fall, but this in-between period is a little weird because you never know what to wear. I am so glad that Burgundy and wide leg pants are back in; I knew I saved those Bongo pants from Wednesday for a reason! I could never bear to get rid of them whenever my mom told me to clean out my closet. They are from 9th grade, I think...sheesh, I can't believe they still fit [they used to be REALLY long but now they are the right length]!
Don't forget to enter the Shopbop Giveaway and love my Fashion by Feelings look! The FbF look also counts as an extra entry in the giveaway now, so if you liked it be sure to leave a comment on the giveaway post letting me know! The giveaway ends on Sunday so make sure to get all those entries in!
Alsooooo, I got an email from net-a-porter a few days ago and it included some information on an exciting contest! It is a game called "Stella Pairs" and you could win a £10,000 (or $15,000) shopping spree among other prizes. To play just visit this page of net-a-porter and click on a card to turn it over and reveal a Stella McCartney runway look. Then click on another card to try and find a match. The object of the game is to find as many pairs as you can in thirty seconds.
