My closet room is a little bit more decorated now! I finally got a cork board to put up some magazine clippings and I got some fashion prints for Christmas. My aunt also gave me a fun shoe calendar!  I'm so glad my roommate gave me two rooms at our place so I could make my dream closet, its perfection.

So I figured you guys may like to see my updated closet, even though it isn't much different from the first time I showed it.

Here we go with my first outfit post of  2012!! It's more of a simple look but I wanted to be comfortable at a family gathering yesterday. I even wore some jewelry, the colored bangles are from when I was REALLY young, ha ha. I also don't have work today so I'm going to laze about, yay!

UPDATE: OOPS! Accidentally set the day on the post for the 1st when I meant to schedule it for the 2nd, but I'll just leave it up ;)  So this outfit is from today, January 1st. Don't you hate when you do that?

Sweater: French Connection (TJ Maxx) gift, Jeans: Free People (Gilt Groupe) gift card, Booties: No.704b. (DSW) $20, Purse: LAUREN Ralph Lauren gift, Watch: Michael Kors, Sunglasses: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop) gift card, Nail Polish: Chanel Péridot

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!

This was an AMAZING year for me and I'm glad I was able to share it with all of you, and that you were actually interested in my adventures, comments on randomness, and outfits! You have no idea what it means to me that you keep coming back to my blog.

I am not one to make New Years Resolutions since I can never keep them, but I always try to not be so scared of life.  You wouldn't know it from reading my blog but I am a VERY shy person, I don't do much outside of work and the occasional Harry Potter event.  I just feel awkward around other people so I prefer to stay home (like tonight...I was watching tv alone to ring in the New Year) So I am going to TRY to be more outgoing.

I already posted this list in October for my birthday, but some of you guys are new so you may enjoy it (I added a bit to it too). My favorite moments of 2011! Some are superficial but whatever, we can be materialistic sometimes ;)

Here's hoping for an even more amazing 2012, for all of us!
This week was so nice and calming, I love the week between Christmas and New Years because hardly any of our clients are working so we don't have too much to do. I also had Monday off so it was a nice short week, we have this coming Monday off too!  I also realized this week that I am a full on Chanel addict (well, I realized that a while ago)...all my makeup is Chanel and now I only want to use my Chanel nail polishes (my roomie got me Péridot for Christmas and I LOVE it, its so cool...) But I suppose its okay to splurge on it once in a while, right?

Do any of you have exciting New Years Eve plans? I'll be spending mine all alone at home unless something miraculous happens and I get invited somewhere where I'm not too scared to go, ha ha.

I wore two of my new sweaters this week (on Tuesday and Wednesday) that I got when I exchanged a Tahari blazer that wasn't the right color. I tried on the jacket at TJ Maxx 2 weeks before Christmas and it was teal...I LOVED it but it was $100 so I put it back.  A few days later my mom went back and was on clearance in my size so she bought it! When she wrapped it she saw that it was black...not teal so she thought she bought the wrong one. So on Monday we headed to TJ Maxx to exchange it for the teal one...I saw the jacket again and it looked teal, so we compared it to mine and MINE looked teal now. So to put a long story short (too late), the lighting in TJ Maxx messed us up and the blazer was really black. I have too many black blazers, so I exchanged it for 4 sweaters! They were all turtlenecks...I guess I'm obsessed with them now too...
