One of my cousins got married last Friday so the whole family headed up to the beautiful location to celebrate! She is the second of my cousins to get married and her brother is getting married in October. The family is on a roll! Ha ha. The wedding was a lot of fun and I even danced...I NEVER dance. Although half the time I was just standing on the dance floor like a weirdo. I can only dance when no one is watching me.
This is the debut of the Tracy Reese dress I bought at Roundabout last year and have been dying to wear! I also wore my new amethyst necklace from Bubu Ruby on etsy. The seller, Jen, is great! She was super helpful when I wanted a specific stone to go with one of the necklaces I bought. Jen also asked me to let you guys know about one of the pieces she is selling this month. It's the Tiny Turquoise Necklace ($24) and $3 from each sale will be donated to the MAKE A WISH foundation in the US and Canada. So check out the necklace, and all her other gorgeous jewelry!

Here's an outfit from a over the weekend to see Maleficent with my sister and her boyfriend. I probably should have worn back, purple or green to match the Disney version, but whatevs. If you haven't seen it and are thinking about it, definitely do! I rarely go to the theatres to see movies and this was totally worth it. It was a hot day, but since we were going to be in a chilly theatre I wore a hoodie.
Layla wanted to get in on the fun for photos, so enjoy some photobombs.
Hoodie: American Eagle, Top: Mexx (Coco's $5 sale), Jeans: Current/Elliott (Sample Sale), Sandals: Ancient Greek Sandals "Athena" (Gilt), Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Saks Friends & Family Sale), Sunglasses: Etienne Aigner c/o Marshalls

The Net-a-Porter End of Season Sale started 2 weeks ago and so far I have been good and not purchased anything. But once the sale goes into further reductions I'm not sure how long I can hold out. (This post is pre-scheduled, but I am guessing further reductions will happen today) I'm really hoping that these Ancient Greek Sandals go on sale. Below find some of the items waiting in my cart. I always fill it up and slowly things start selling out or going lower in price so I can get something.

What's the best thing to wear on a perfect Spring day? How about cropped white jeans and a crop top? This top is actually part of a two-piece dress I got in one of net-a-porter's sales (there's currently one underway!) Unfortunately, the dress part was too tight so I just keep this top for when I need a breezy alternative to a t-shirt [see a post showing how I've worn it]. My hair is also finally getting long enough to do some interesting hairstyles again, I did a double French braid to keep my hair out of my face.
These sandals from Marshalls are fast on their way to becoming my regular Summer sandal. Whenever I don't know what shoes to wear I put them on because they go with everything. I must have gone through 5 pairs of shoes trying to avoid wearing these for the hundredth time, but what can I say, they just work.
Top: Splendid (net-a-porter end of season sale), Jeans: Mother Denim c/o Marshalls, Sandals: Mula c/o Marshalls, Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (net-a-porter), Watch: Skagen (Rue La La), Rings: vintage, Brilliant Imports & Mom's
Unfortunately I only had a few minutes to take outfit photos so the color is a bit wonky due to the weird lighting. Oopsie!

I wore this outfit last week when I went into the city for a morning at the office and an afternoon doing something top secret for a certain beauty brand. Hopefully I can share it with you soon, not sure what's going to come of it, potentially nothing. Unfortunately my morning commute was a nightmare. To make a long story short, it took me 4 hours to get to the office. I left my house at 6:10 and got to work at 10:20...GROSS! But after that the day went well.
I got my hair and makeup done and I must say it looks GOOD, I didn't want to take the makeup off before bed. I wish I was able to do makeup this well on my own, but I only know the basics. That's probably for the best, because this way my skin doesn't get clogged up with tons of product every day. Also, I can never seem to get my hair to be this perfectly messy on my own, you'd think it would be so easy!
Leather Jacket: Theyskens' Theory (Nordstrom Rack), Tee: Everlane, Jeans: Current/Elliott (The Outnet), Sandals: Mula c/o Marshalls, Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop), Sunglasses: Etienne Aigner c/o Marshalls, Watch: Skagen (Rue La La), Rings: vintage, Brilliant Imports & Mom's
This outfit made me feel a bit like Sandy at the end of Grease, minus the shoulder bearing top and skin tight leather pants. But, I've got the leather jacket and similar colored sandals, so close enough. (except not really) And now I want to watch Grease, perhaps I shall!

Christopher Bailey has a way of making me want things I have never wanted before. Case in point: these amazing, long pencil skirts! Sadly I know I could never pull it off, but they're fun to look at. Here are some of my favorite looks in the Burberry Prorsum Resort 2015 collection.
Continuing with the dresses theme from yesterday, let's discuss what to wear to a wedding. My cousin is getting married and while I already have my dress I thought it would be fun to show you guys some outfits for various wedding scenarios. I'm always a fan of classic pieces with a twist and that's exactly what Review offers. Whether it's an adorable added belt or an interesting seam, almost all the dresses have something to surprise.
Our first look features this Donatella Dress, one of their new arrivals and my favorite piece. This would be a lovely choice for a dressy, night-time wedding. Th dark floral, short sleeves and fabric belt make it a really unique piece that's sure to stun everyone.
Next up we have this beautiful maxi dress which we can dress up or down. I've created a look that you can wear for a nice outdoor/beach wedding. Pair it with a cardigan and some dressy flat sandals and you have the perfect outfit.
These are just two options for wedding looks. With over 100 dresses to choose from, you can come up with an outfit for any of your upcoming Summer weddings! Make sure to check out all the other pieces they have to offer to help complete your look. Both pieces of outerwear featured above are also from Review.
*Disclosure: I received payment in exchange for this post, but all opinions are my own.
