Everyone ready for the long weekend? This is what I wore last weekend to do some shopping and have lunch with Lydia and Christine! We headed to New Haven and visited Vintanthromodern where I picked up a suede jacket I first tried on 14 weeks ago (according to Instagram) And yes, I cheated and didn't put this in my wardrobe update post because this is such a random purchase not related to the season at all. After we shopped we had lunch at a Thai restaurant. It was my first time having it so I was a little nervous, I'm a VERY picky eater. But it was pretty good!

And yes, the post title is a reference to Bob Seger's Mainstreet (love this song!)

Yes, I'm wearing this sweater AGAIN. What did I tell you? I love it! But I've shown it three different ways, with a skirt, with white jeans and now with blue jeans. This is how I wear it most often, super simple. I will try not to post it again for a while, but I make no promises!

I bought this skirt with a gift card back in April at the Clinton Crossing shopping event.  It's a size XL but it was only $6 and I had a gift card burning a hole in my pocket. I haven't had my Mom make the waist smaller so in these photos I'm wearing it dangerously low on my hips (with shorts underneath). If it was the proper size I have a strong feeling it would be WAY too short on me, so I guess it was a blessing in disguise that they didn't have my size. Ha ha.

I only bought three things this month, one was some navy sandals I've been needing for my Summer wardrobe, the second some new denim shorts and the third a ring while on vacation. Not too bad! The sandals were a bit of a splurge but I was having trouble finding a perfect pair of navy sandals.

Don't you hate rainy days? This outfit is not very Summery and yet it is what I wore on the first day of Summer, which was also Father's Day.  The day started out very dreary, but luckily it turned out to be a nice day in the end.

I wore this outfit over the weekend and it's awesome how comfortable we can dress now without actually wearing pajamas. I refuse to wear sweatpants out in public, so these Sea pants are the next best thing! Unfortunately it was threatening to rain all day so it was on the cooler side, but that just meant I got to wear my chambray jacket!

Here's my last vacation outfit! Sadly the dress didn't photograph too well, I swear it isn't really this frumpy! But I thought it was the perfect piece to wear to Animal Kingdom, don't you? My hair also looks very frizzy in the photos, clearly a bad day all around for photos!
