I've never been a huge ombre fan, but a couple weekends ago Lydia and I went to an event at the Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods Casino where we had a gift card to buy as many sweaters as we could and I found this at Charlotte Russe for only $11! It's super soft and the price was right so I figured I'd try it out.

Tee: Everlane, Sweater: Charlotte Russe c/o Tanger Outlets, Jeans: Free People, Loafers: Burberry Prorsum (Net-a-Porter Sale), Necklace: House of Harlow c/o South Moon Under

This outfit is full of pieces that are extra long: high waisted jeans, over the knee boots and duster sweater. Even two of my necklaces are longer than what I usually wear. I wore this over the weekend for my cousins 15th birthday celebration. I can't believe my youngest cousin is already that old...I feel ancient! (Even though I'm definitely not, ha ha)

Top: DKNY Jeans, Sweater: J Crew (Roundabout Resale), Jeans: J Brand 'high rise Maria' (Gilt),  Boots: Audrey Brooke (DSW), Necklaces: grandma's gift from Lydia and c/o Marrin Costello, Sunglasses: Ray Ban 'Erika' c/o Ditto

*UncommonGoods sent the necklace featured in this post. All opinions are my own*

Longtime readers will know that I love featuring companies that promote sustainability and support artists.  Today I'm sharing a piece from UncommonGoods. They carry such a wide selection of products that you're sure to find something you love. Most of the products they carry are created in the USA, and about one-third of the entire collection incorporates recycled and/or upcycled materials. Pieces range from dainty to rustic, so there's something for every style. Or, if you're like me, you'll want a bit of everything.

UncommonGoods supports a variety of non-profit organizations from City Harvest (which strives to end hunger in communities throughout New York City through food rescue, distribution, and education) to American Forests (which protects and restores forests worldwide.) With every purchase you make, UncommonGoods donates $1 to the non-profit of your choice. Since starting their Better to Give program 12 years ago, they’ve donated over $700,000 to charities around the world!

How amazing is this Hand Forged Slate and Bronze Necklace? It has a Greek god vibe to it, at least in my weird point of view. It was made in Vermont by mother-daughter design team Tulianna and Alejandra Garces. Finger-shaped stones are collected from the Vermont shoreline and refined into rustic beads. Then hammered-bronze accents are added to the stones for a hint of shimmer.

Blazer: Chanel (Roundabout Resale), Sweater: Roundabout Resale, Jeans: J Brand 'high rise Maria' (Gilt), Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Saks Fifth Avenue), Boots: Vince Camuto (Marshalls), Necklace c/o UncommonGoods

Sometimes all you need is a comfortable pair of jeans and an R2D2 sweater.  I wore this on Sunday to hang around with the family. I probably should have dressed warmer considering the fact that there were some FLURRIES....really hoping we don't have another Halloween blizzard this year. That would not be fun! I like snow in December, after that it can stay away, ha ha.

R2D2 Sweatshirt: Mighty Fine c/o Kohl's (sold out online), Jeans: rag & bone (Shopbop), Boots: Candie's c/o Kohl's

Happy Back to the Future day!!!! Will you be having a marathon of the movies? I was planning on doing that tonight but I'm going to an event with Lydia instead. Luckily I work from home so I can just watch all three during the day while I work. The perks of freelancing!

I intended to wear this sweater with jeans but then decided to mix it up a bit with these pants I've had for at least 10 years. They're a perfect match, don't you think?

Sweater: rag & bone (The Wrld), Pants: Glo (old), Heels: Simply Vera Vera Wang c/o Kohl's

I've had these jeans for 3 and 1/2 years now, insanity! Who would have thought that burgundy leopard print jeans would endure this long? I knew they would for me since burgundy and leopard are two of my favorite things, but they're still selling them online too!

Sweater: Inis Crafts (Marshalls), Jeans: Current/Elliott (Rue La La), Boots: Zigi Soho (DSW), Bag: Etienne Aigner (thrifted)

I bought these boots when I was in New York City a couple weekends ago. I forgot to bring my black boots that went with everything I had brought with me so while my friends were at Comic Con I headed to DSW and found these babies and used a $20 off coupon, my $5 birthday coupon AND the money my mom gave me for my birthday. A purchase made during an emergency, but one I'm sure will get a lot of wear! I only wish they went a liiiittle bit higher, but I can always find another pair that is thigh high.

This is the "classy" version of this outfit. If I want to be a little more risque I can pull up my skirt a bit more. But my dad was taking these pictures so that would have been a bit awkward, don't you think?

Tank: Vince c/o Marshalls, Blazer: Marc by Marc Jacobs (eBay), Skirt: T by Alexander Wang (Net-a-Porter), Boots: Audrey Brooke (DSW)

I have been in love with this purple blazer ever since Christine wore it to one of our blog meetups. Luckily for me, she surprised me with it the last time we met up for lunch! How did I get such awesome friends? I went very matchy-matchy with this outfit! Matched my blazer and tee to my Chanel flats and then matched my bag....what can I say, I like to match!

Blazer: Evan Picone (from Christine), Tee: Zara, Jeans: Michael Kors (Marshalls), Flats: Chanel (eBay), Purse: Etienne Aigner (thrifted), Necklace: R2-D2 Pendant c/o Kohl's

Game of Thrones anyone? Or was that reference too obscure? Ha ha. I wore this to go out for a belated birthday dinner with my friends.  We were going to Chili's so I wanted to wear a looser sweater so I wouldn't explode. Whenever we go I end up eating at LEAST a full order of chips & salsa in addition to my meal. Well, half of my meal...I always save half for the next day!

I love these ankle boots so much that I am terrified of them becoming too worn out to wear! I've been on the hunt for a backup pair for a while and found one...but I'm a little reluctant to buy them because they're still $55 through Poshmark (and a half size big, which I can deal with.) But what's $55 in exchange for something I know I love...oh dilemmas!

Sweater: Witchery (via Jamie-Lee's blog shop), Jeans: FRAME 'Le Skinny de Jeanne Jeans' (Shopbop), Necklace: bought in Santorini, Boots: Vince Camuto (Marshalls)

When I bought this sweater I was nervous that I'd only be able to wear it with my high waisted J Brand jeans. Then I remembered I had a couple skirts that were high waisted as well! I love the colors of the sweater and it has a bit of a Missoni vibe to it as well. Gotta love Zara for their designer impersonations.

I almost got rid of this skirt because I hardly wore it, but I'm glad I kept it. It isn't supposed to be high waisted but I put a belt on and wore it up higher, perfect solution! And it's really soft: bonus!

Sweater: Zara, Skirt: Mother c/o Marshalls, Heels: Tabitha Simmons (Roundabout Resale), Belt: Kenneth Cole Reaction (Marshalls)
