Wore this on a nice warm day where I didn't need my sweater until the evening. Woohoo for it finally getting warm out! Also decided to wear the new slides that my mom picked up for me when we went to Clinton Crossing last month. She also bought a pair for herself and one for my sister. They're a little stiff so I'll have to break them in a bit before using them on my beach vacations (Rhode Island and Aruba) this Summer!

Revisiting what I wore on my birthday 4 years ago! I don't have the top anymore, but I do have the rest of the items. Even the bag, although I just us it to hold computer cords now. I decided to switch out the necklace to one I bought while in Boston last week (for only $8.50 at Geoclassics!) because it had some yellow in it and matched the skirt great!

Last week was very interesting weather-wise. Luckily we were finished with the rain all day every day thing, but there were still a few rainy evenings. This was my "it might rain so wear a sweater" outfit. These jeans are another piece that I don't wear often anymore but still can't get rid of. They're double sided and the print is so fun!

Another rainy day where I didn't want to get dressed. So what did I do? I put on a bright-ish sweater and cute rain boots to face the day!

We had rain all last week. It was getting very depressing so I decided to wear a "bright" sweater. It's not really bright, but the orange and tan lifts my mood a bit. Hopefully we'll be able to ditch all this cold weather wear soon. Not that I don't love wearing my jeans and sweaters. I'll still wear them in Summer, they just aren't necessary, haha.

The only pieces in this week's throwback outfit that are the same are my accessories. I graduated on to better jeans and wore the top into the ground. The top in today's post is sadly on it's way out as well, but for different reasons. I bought it the same day I bought my, very beloved, pink leopard button up at an Equipment & Current/Elliott sample sale but it has only been worn 3 times, if that. I need to sell it but I can just never bring myself to do it. Anyone want to take it off my hands? ;)

Last Friday I went to see Captain America: Civil War with my brother and cousins. I like both Iron Man and Captain America so it was hard to pick a side, but I decided to go for Team Cap and wore a red sweater and navy blue jacket! Gotta dress on theme, right?! (Plus, Chris Evans is a huge Disney nerd so automatic bonus points) The movie was so good, I laughed, I cried, I got angry. Highly recommended. Captain America movies always seem to be my favorites in the Marvel universe, not sure why.

A casual weekend outfit worn to hang around the house and read in the yard. This sweater is another one of my great steals, $8 from Goodwill at least 5 years ago. I also have a feeling this is going to be my jacket of the Summer. I've had it since 2 Memorial Days ago but I've been wearing it a LOT more this year.

I wore this on a VERY windy day two weekends ago to watch Lydia in a panel at South Moon Under in Westport. They did a fashion police panel and then answered audience questions about style and breaking into the industry. After the event we braved the wind for outfit photos and finished off the afternoon with ramen at Mecha Noodle Bar and some shopping at Marshalls where I successfully resisted buying an adorable tank top!
Originally I wasn't too keen on the pairing of my bomber with this shirt dress but in the end I really like the combo! Although, with the wind, I had to keep holding down my dress to avoid a wardrobe malfunction!
Bomber: Cloth & Stone (Marshalls), Dress: Jason Wu (Roundabout Resale), Sandals: Ancient Greek Sandals 'Alethea' (bought in Santorini), Bag: Emm Kuo (Roundabout Resale), Sunglasses: Chanel (bought in Greece)

Another Thursday, another throwback outfit! It has two of my old stand-bys in it: the leather jacket and sandals! Sadly the sandals are falling apart due to their age so I try not to wear them too much now. And I've been neglecting the leather jacket lately too...shame on me!
