I've amassed quite the collection of vests over the past couple of years and they all involve fur. This one is the most unique since it's chevron printed AND multicolored! Lydia got it for me for Christmas and it was such a great find! The fact that there are so many colors in it makes it a lot easier to style than you'd think. I think next time I'll wear it with light brown.

Fur Vest: Romeo & Juliet Couture (from Lydia), Turtleneck: Vanessa Bruno (Coco's $10 sale), Jeans: Free People, Boots: Candie's c/o Kohl's, Sunglasses: Ray Ban 'Erika' c/o Ditto, Bag: Emm Kuo 'Calle Bahia' (Roundabout Resale)

Here I go again with weird prints. I think it's funny how every single one of my button down shirts is a print. Apparently I can't wear basic ones. I do have a purple one from an Equipment sample sale but I never wear it because of the fabric (not as breathable as my other Equipment blouse.)  I wore this the day before we had a freak snowstorm. It was warm and springlike and then next thing we know it snows most of the day on Friday.

Top: Oasis c/o, Vest: French Connection (Marshalls), Jeans: Free People, Flats: Chaps (Kohl's)

Last Friday I had to go to jury duty. It was also a snowy day and I'm not a huge fan of where the court is so that made it extra annoying. But sometimes it's nice to just sit and read all day. I made some good progress on finishing Return of the King, which I've been reading for far too long, ha ha. I thought it was a good opportunity to wear one of my more professional blazers since I rarely have occasion to wear them anymore.

Sweater: Everlane, Blazer: Brooks Brothers (Roundabout Resale), Jeans: Free People, Boots: Eighteen 68 'Megan' (Gilt), Necklace: Mom's

Yesterday I helped throw a bridal shower for my cousin. We held it at a place on the water so I figured I would go with a watery-print looking dress! It was so cold though so probably not the best idea to only wear it with a sweater. But this is the outfit I had in my head so I stuck with it!! The shower went really well, thankfully some of the other bridesmaids were the vocal ones so I didn't have to yell to the whole group, ha ha.  I also made some pretty delicious french macarons (made to look like oysters) as a favor for the guests, see the picture below!

Weekends are all about comfort. Okay...maybe every day is about comfort, but especially weekends. I wore this a couple weekends ago for an afternoon at my Grandmothers. This leather jacket is still one of my all time favorite steals. A Theyskens' Theory leather jacket I found at Nordstrom Rack for $172, it retailed for $1150. INSANITY!

Leather Jacket: Theyskens' Theory (Nordstrom Rack), Sweatshirt: Phillip Lim x Target, Jeans: Mother (Marshalls), Flats: Diane von Furstenberg (Marshalls)

I do still have the original cardigan I wore with this outfit but I decided to wear this darker one instead since it went better with the tights and tee. Funnily enough, this skirt was made with leftover fabric from when my mom helped me make a skirt inspired by Michael Kors. I have worn this WAY more than the one we intended to make, funny how that works.

Tee: Marc by Marc Jacobs, Sweater: Abercrombie (thrifted), Skirt: Made by Mom, Heels: Lanvin (Roundabout Resale)

Wearing two things that haven't been getting much wear lately; my crazy boots and super soft oversized blazer. I go through phases and I haven't been wearing my blazers all that much lately, but I still love every single one I own and could never get rid of them. I'm such a hoarder! And these boots are so wild that I sometimes find it hard to wear them. Instead I just need to remember they're a statement and I can wear them with anything because they're so crazy!

Blazer: PBM Women's (Coco's $10 sale), Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater: Vince (Marshalls), Jeans: J Brand 'Maria' in blueberry (The Real Real), Booties: Tabitha Simmons 'Elisa' - also in black - for Runway to Green (Roundabout Resale)

What's one to do with a crazy printed shirt? Pair it with printed shoes, of course! This Saint Laurent patchwork blouse is still one of my favorite pieces. At first I felt a little self conscious while wearing it, even though I loved it, because most people find it strange. But now I take pride in the outlandish print mixing! I wore this to check out Roundabout Resale's winter blowout a couple weeks ago. Luckily I walked out with nothing, but I had to look to see if there was anything I had been hunting for (like a Chloe Faye bag.)

Patchwork Blouse: Saint Laurent (eBay), Jeans: J Brand 811 Photo Ready Mid-Rise Skinny (Gilt), Cardigan: Banana Republic, Printed Loafers: Burberry Prorsum (NET-A-PORTER sale, also here)

Time for another look inspired by fashion week! Here's a nice simple, monochromatic look from Brooks Brothers. I went a little bit lighter than their navy but it's still quite similar. All you need are skinny cords, sweater and cardigan in the same or similar colors. Next find a matching bag and loafers, burgundy in my case. Top it off with a scarf tied at the neck and you're all set!

Funnily enough my bag and shoes are the same designer, bought at years apart, in different thrift stores. The bag was $2 and the shoes $4. Some of my best finds!

Cardigan: Kohl's (old), Sweater: Banjo + Matilda (The Outnet), Corduroy Pants: Abercrombie, Scarf: Jason Wu x Target, Bag: Etienne Aigner (thrifted), Loafers: Etienne Aigner (thrifted)

I've always enjoyed this color combo. Green and purple make such a great pair but I don't see them put together that often. Forgive the wrinkles on the sweater, didn't have time to iron it, haha! It's finally staying light enough for me to take outfit pictures when I go to my parents for dinner. So much better than having to do multiple outfits over the weekends.

Top: Michael Kors (Lord & Taylor), Sweater: Ami Dans La Rue (Shopbop), Skirt: Old Navy, Booties: No.704b. (DSW), Necklace: BubuRuby (etsy)
