I don't wear this top nearly as much as I should. I guess it's because it's more girly than my usual style. So to toughen it up I paired it with these skinny jeans that are aptly called "love destroyed."  This post also sees the return of Arnold, my beloved purple purse! He's been neglected lately in favor of smaller bags, but I used it basically every day for 2 years straight, so it needed a break. Wouldn't you say?

Summer is far from over, but I couldn't help but share these photos from the Tory Burch Fall lookbook! I am so looking forward to getting back into all of my comfy sweaters and jeans.  My favorite thing to wear!

I especially love the cora dress, bettina coat, danielle tunic & skirt and the shawn tunic. Maybe come sale time I'll actually be able to afford some of the pieces! One can dream, right?

I was provided a credit to 9th & Elm for the purpose of this post, but all opinions are my own

A couple weeks ago, 9th & Elm, a store that offers handmade and independent designs, approached me to try out some items from their website. They even have a great selection of vintage items, I have my eye on a bunch of beautiful rings (and this roadrunner brooch)!  It took me quite a while to decide what I wanted since they have so much to offer! But finally I decided and waited anxiously for the times to arrive.

I bought: Oui Oui Paris Tee V-Neck Tee, Owl Cuff in Red and a Blue/Orange i-Glow phone case.
Other items: Skirt: Made by Mom, Sneakers: Keds (DSW), Necklace: BijouLimon (etsy)

This tee is super soft and I love the nod to Paris, I really want to get back there some day! I was only there for 12 hours the first time I went, and that was over 3 years ago now.  And I am obviously a huge fan of this owl cuff! I have amassed quite the collection of owl pieces over the years and now they happen to be trendy - score!

How cool is this case?! It even has a spot for a card, be it an ID, credit card or a Starbucks Gold Card (I don't even drink coffee! Ha ha. Yay for hot chocolate and baked goods)
I've worn this dress twice since buying it two weeks ago. Once was to the "ball" at LeakyCon a couple weeks ago, and second to my cousin's engagement party this past weekend. Such a beautiful dress, and I scored it for under $200! Still a splurge, but it's Burberry.  I definitely see this as a versatile dress. I can wear it with tights and a jacket come Winter and Fall. And in Summer I can wear it like this and with sandals to dress down a bit.

I felt like such a label snob in this outfit, but nothing I bought was full price (except perhaps the Chanel, I saved up a few years for that and still bought it second hand - but it's still expensive) That's what I love about consignment stores. I can find amazing pieces at even better prices, sometimes brand new with tags - like this dress!  It's amazing to me that someone paid (probably) full price, never wore it and then consigned it and I magically found it! Such a thrill, right?

Dress: Burberry London (Roundabout Resale), Heels: Dolce & Gabbana (Uptown Consignment), Bag: Chanel (Madison Avenue Couture)

We've been having a lot of perfect (in my opinion) Summer days lately.  The one's where it's warm enough to not need a sweater, but you can still wear one without sweating to death.  I was getting bored of just wearing my dresses with nothing over them. And lucky for me, this sweater was a perfect match for the dress without being too heavy!

Dress: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Marshalls), Sweater: Marc Jacobs (Roundabout Resale), Sandals: Ancient Greek Sandals "Athena" (Gilt), Sunglasses: Ray Ban "Emma" (Marshalls), Owl Coin Purse: Gift

This was one of those days where I wanted to be comfortable with minimal effort. Enter: this cute cashmere sweater I bought at Roundabout for under $40. I don't normally buy/wear pink but it is so comfortable! On this day I also went sans-makeup since I was just going out to lunch with a friend. A Cheescake Factory just opened last week and neither of us had been, so we figured we would make a fun mid-day excursion out of it! I had a mini pizza and we shared a DELICIOUS Godiva Chocolate Brownie Sundae....yum!

Cashmere Sweater: Paolo Rodesco (Roundabout Resale), Jeans: Current/Elliott (sample sale), Sandals c/o fibi & clo, Necklace: Shop NBC (giveaway), Bracelet: from Grandma

When I get back home from a vacation I don't want to think about what I wear. So on this day I dressed in pajama-like clothes to keep super comfortable! I even did one of those half-tucks that everyone hates because my tee looked weird untucked and fully tucked, ha ha.

Top: Everlane, Shorts: Zara, Flats: Chanel (Roundabout Resale), Necklace: Indulgems (Gilt), Sunglasses: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop)

These products were provided to me by Neutrogena. Thoughts and opinions are my own.

As part of the Vogue Influencer Network I'm often given the chance to try out exciting new (and sometimes tried-and-true) products. This time I got to try out the full Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair line. The line is clinically proven to brighten skin’s tone and reduce wrinkles in just one week, so I have used the product the past 2 weeks to see what would happen!

I was sent the following: Rapid Wrinkle Repair® Serum ($20.99), Rapid Wrinkle Repair® Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ($20.99), Rapid Wrinkle Repair® Night Moisturizer ($20.99), and Rapid Wrinkle Repair® Eye Cream ($20.99)

After these past two weeks I can say I have definitely noticed improvement in my skin. It is a lot smoother and brighter. I'm not saying my face is covered in wrinkles, but this is also a preventative thing. All the magazines tell us to start using anti-aging products in our 20s to help counteract what will happen as we get closer to our 30s. I used the products while I was on a trip, so being on planes and also being overtired may have affected the results a bit, but I'm still very happy with the products. I imagine if I wasn't on vacation my dark circles would be a lot lighter, but a lack of sleep counteracted the results to a degree.

Before using this I had been trying out Chanel's Resynchronizing Skincare line and my previous favorite was L'oreal Paris Youth Code (which I have been using for a few years.) I will definitely continue to use my Neutrogena products until they run out, but I have not decided which of the three product lines I will use when that time comes.
Here's part 2 of my photoshoot extras, see part 1 in yesterday's post. It's so funny looking at all the outfits and seeing how different they all are.  It's clear that I love skinny jeans and prints, though.
